I love this place! They specialize in salt water and have an awesome selection of coral, SW fish, and supplies. They have FW as well, and a respectable selection at that! Their prices are also very competitive, you may pay a bit more (it's not a chain) but it's nothing out of this world.

They have a huge 1000G coral tank in the main shopping area, another huge coral tank (atleast half the size as the other), and a pond like thing with large sharks and sting rays which is epic, the sharks will actually swim near the surface of the water with their fin sticking out lol! The fish room is very clean, the tanks are all well kept, the fish look healthy. They also have a good sized frag tank in the fish room as well with a floating magnifying device to get a better look at coral from the top.

They also offer services such as custom aquarium design, maintenance, and even tank relocation.

If you are in central Iowa - this is the place to go!

I am not local to it, but I did get a chance to stop in last week. It is a great pet store with a good reptile selection in addition to fish.

I spend a few hours there every time I go. Amazing saltwater selection. Even several pools with sharks and rays. The best selection of Discus I've ever seen, usually 6 to 10 tanks with 6 or more varieties. The stock always looks healthy, tanks clean and the staff seem to know what there talking about. They let me trade a discus that wouldn't eat for another.
Down-side: On busy days you have to take a number and wait for them to call you to get your fish. It's an hour drive for me

I'd have to second Animal Jungle in Virginia Beach. Shopped there for many years. They are probably the largest single owner pet shop on the east coast and possibly the country. A must stop place for anyone visiting the beach area. Top notch employees with lots of knowledge.
Check Youtube for the tour videos . Not great but does give a glimpse into how big the store is.

I my previous ventures this was my primary LFS. They are extremely knowledgeable and their specialty is mainly fish and retiles. They have a wide variety of supplies also.

This is a great place to buy fish. Although it's not the best place for other animals, they have a good selection of fish. They do not have much variety, but the fish they do have are all very healthy and the tanks are kept clean. The staff has some knowledge of fish from what I've seen. If you're in Suffolk County, certainly check this place out.
