I went to Mermaid Aquarium in Fremont.
They overcharge everything and try to sell more than help. They seem really shady.
I went to King's Aquarium in San Jose. I was overwhelmed by the size of this place. You pass the SW to find a room for FW and they even have a Pond area. Very helpful people.
I went to Brian's Fish World and Brian is really cool. Super clean and good fish. He'll help you sex the fish.

I need a Safe Haven; a place close by for my fish needs. I live right in the middle of this triangle of aquariums and would like to know where's there's a decent LFS closer to me here in South San Jose.

This is BY FAR the best fish store i've ever been to....they also have a nice reptile room. I've never seen discus, pirahna, and saltwater sharks in any other fish store. Great selection of saltwater and freshwater, very helpful sales associates, and a huge display of various sized aquariums and tank decorations! This place really rocks and is totally worth the drive even if you're not in the Nashville area!

There's a new store that just opened up in Union Center in Union NJ called Aaron's Aquariums. I went in and checked the place out and boy is it clean. Stock was healthy appearing, both freshwater and saltwater and the owner seemed to know his fish when talking to another customer. When I finally fill my tank, this is where I plant to go.
