guess what guys...today i'm really sad because my dad killed my 5 year old bala shark. i got him when he was just 2 cm in length, and now - he was 30 cm in length.my dad poured tap water straight into his tank, and it was ice cold aswell. i walked into the room and saw the bala shark having a fit. he is shaking so much, he is side down on the gravel and his spine is forming an arch. then do you know what my dad does? he starts pounding on the glass. scaring the poor thing to death. i'm shouting at him to leave the fish alone, just leave him alone but my dad think he knows better and just puts his hand in the tank - he is actually moving the shark about then the shark just stopped breathing. :( :( :(
 
:( I am so sorry this happened to you. Remember that it was done with the best of intentions. My husband added some cold water to one of my tanks. The water was low. Luckily I came in right after he done it. I think I was more mad at myself for not telling him how to do it the right way.
I hope your dad's hands were clean. Just take a minute and explain to him that your tank is off limits unless he learns how to take care of it the proper way.:)

yeah, feeling really upset. i told my dad not to interfere, i told him not to touch the tank but he never listened. i stood there and watch my lovely bala shark fit until he died. and my dad was terrorising the poor thing. he was banging on the glass, moving the fish about everything.
 
Well as long as Plant and KY are game...sounds like fun to me!
