He had a band in high school , just finished college and is a 7th-8th grade school teacher now but will probably end up as a lawyer. He is playing with a band right now , I don't know how permanent it is. They are having a small concert at FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY this fri night . My nephew played me a recording on Thanksgiving doing Led Zep and the singer sounds just like Robert Plant

He's good. Does he only do covers? It's amazing that these young guys are using stuff their parents were into to test themselves. If his band's singer does 'naturally' sound like RP, they should do well. One of the best R&R voices ever....and with neph' doing an awesome Jimmy Page, I've got to hear them!

Greg, the web site doesn't have music on it . Yes , right now it's pretty much covers but they did try some original stuff. Goes to show you how even the younger musicians play the GOOD old rock and roll. He played this stuff in high school at his talent shows Hopefully they will post a vid of some concert material .

Music speaks all languages, as the old cliche' goes. True, I think. It sounds corny, but I remember guys from school, who weren't academically or athletically gifted, strumming guitars at parties and suddenly their confidence grew and they felt apppreciated.
We're getting a basic keyboard for the three of us for Xmas. I just want my little one to have it around for the next few years especially, and see if she wants to play.
