I meant to mention earlier, my dear old mum and my youngest brother spent six months or a year in the US, but largely in Canada. She was on a university lecture secondment/tour. Absolutely loved Banff. She's travelled the world extensively, but I think that's her fav. Near you?

Not really. It's about 6000 km from here. It's a pretty big country. I like being out west but I sure hate flying all the way out there.
