MAFIA 10: Vampires!

I can't understand why Ogre would bother taking the time to make a case against a definite innocent. Care to explain that Ogre?

I don't think it was a case against sploke per say, I think he was trying to see what sploke said to make the kidnapper believe he was Innocent.

I suppose. Seems like a waste of time to me when he could be spending his time looking for bad guys instead of trying to figure out why the kidnapper chose someone /shrug.

hmmm, it could go either way, I suppose. I mean, he's watching who the kidnapper takes, who in essence leaves the vampires alone or die. I guess maybe he's looking for a clue as to what the kidnapper is looking for to make whoever he wants to kidnapped deem innocent. In other words, he's looking for the innocence clues that the kidnapper might see that makes him feel secure enough in selecting that person.

Heck I can't even seem to pick 4 top suspects because everyone's been giving off bad vibes to me lol. I am going to wait until tomorrow to make a decision on whom to vote for when I've had more time to re-read posts and think more.

Oh lord do I agree with you here Swayde!

I am hating it I don't want to falsely accuse ppl, but so many have said/done things that look evil to me I don't know where to start...then the same ppl will come back with something that totally makes since and I think no way they are not evil and in the same thought I think of something else they have done and I'm like but they DO seem Vampish....AHHHHHH this round is KILLING me ov'a heer!

For what it's worth I am adding a few thoughts of a list, this is NOT set in stone and can (most likely will) change at any given moment.

Sploke- obviously cleared for tonight, has to of been kidnapped.
DD-I am getting more wary about her, what started as just a uneasiness..has turned more into growing suspicions.
Z-Leaning more innocent..but still the "connection" thing is buggin me...could be coincidence but not really sure at this point. He made a good argument against it that seems to clear him but still not sure.
JL-I keep going back and forth with him..he is one that one minute I think vamp the next I think innocent...the whole transaction between him and Charlie has me a bit worried.
CS- Same as JL
Ogre-I do see him as a good turn victim, but at the moment I am leaning innocent, seems helpful and I'm not sure I'm convinced the LV would take someone so obvious this soon.
RB-Definitely see something off with him, his lack of posting has me worried. The only problem I have with him being Vamp is another one I don't see as being turned this early on, as he is a very obvious one for investigation.
Swayde-Seems mainly innocent to me, haven't seen anything to ring any bells as of yet.
Ewurm-well I have to say I am leaning him more toward evil myself...he hasn't been posting much of anything, except comments about what others have said.
DC-Another I'm leaning more evil, because of postings
Mad-Leaning innocent, he seems to be helping IMO and hasn't done anything either to raise my suspicions.
Guppy-Has to be innocent...at least until tonight.

Now this brings me to the thought I had while at the park...I am thinking the "kidnap" victims would be GREAT candidates for a turn. Once they are kidnapped we know they are innocent, then maybe don't think much about them, especially ones like Gup that don't post a whole heck of a lot. I'd like to know what others think about this?
Also as far as the "bandwagon" thing, I'm not sure...yes it does seem like a good idea to me, IF everyone did it correctly I am also worried about evils sitting on someone they know innocent, or the ones who post then don't come back and are happy just leaving their vote there.

ROLE CHANGE

I didn't think the kidnapper role through,so here is the modification

If the kidnapper chooses a vampire in the game the kidnapper dies.

If the kidnapper protect someone that the vampires choose in the 1st 2 days the kidnapper dies and that player is still turned.

If the village lynches the kidnapper then the last person to vote for the kidnapper dies( pulling off doesn't count).** This won't count tonight as it wasn't in time to change anyones votes** ( Not saying the Kidnapper has/hasn't votes on them. )

If the kidnapper grabs a villager that villager will be PMed and told not to speak until after the next nightfall.

If Rb/ DD could edit the rules and place this under Kidnapper I would appreciate it.

Sorry about the confusion but the kidnapper wasn't a help to the town.

Edit:
Also the Kidnapper is not allowed to say who they are protecting, EVER.

Crap, I misunderstood this line as being the kidnapper isn't supposed to help the town instead of the kidnapper, as the rules were written, isn't a help to the town.

Sorry.

Just as much as it makes sense to us that the kidnapped victims are automatically innocent, it's a thing for them to turn them because they believe our guards are down on that person. But the fact is, they are only innocent on the day they return to us from being kidnapped. I am on the fence of whether the vamps would put themselves out that far by automatically turning those that we would assume is innocent and believing that as a town, we would realistically think they were innocent for the rest of the game. I don't know if they would be so obvious as to choose the kidnapped victims because we knew they were innocent at one point. This situation goes back and forth in my head and I guess it would depend on who the LV and vampettes were as to whether they would go for such an obvious route.

hmmm.... the more I think about it, who's to say the vampires couldn't ask to turn the kidnapped victim on the day they are released back into the town?

Hey Lady G....how about we just go lock ourselves up in Mee-Mee's old pastry shoppe and eat all her goodies and hide out from the bad guys lol. This town is SCARY! *cries*

Ogre thanks for clearing that up, it helps.

They can, but the turns happen at nightfall and it's only 50/50 chance of a turn because it can also result in death to their target. It's basically a mafia hit with a 50% chance of the victim becoming a vampire.
