Ok, I just got home and got caught up. Unfortunately I will be traveling all day tomorrow and likely won't have computer access until after nightfall, so I will have to place my vote tonight.

The possibility that Tree might be scum trying to lynch an innocent that they know for a fact won't be UDing from that player's history didn't even occur to you?

I had that thought originally, was wondering if scum would try to railroad you into the lynch since you're a good player. But this post of yours really pings my scumdar. I can't see them targeting you because they know you won't UD. They would target you because you were a threat. The fact you weren't on the chopping block makes me wonder why scum wouldn't try to get rid of you.

Also, you've not made a single case on anyone. I know you mentioned working on a truck, but the innocent Wiz I'm used to playing with attacks like a terrier when making a case and doesn't let go, no matter how busy he is. The only times I've seen you try to avoid making a case while looking helpful are when you are scum. It sure feels like you're trying to avoid digging this game Wiz.

This correction came 3 1/2 hours after the offending post. Nobody in the thread called you out on it but you thought to go back and check your wording anyway? Any reason for that? It looks like LG counted it anyway.

It is odd. If LG hadn't counted the earlier vote I could see correcting the mistake, but since she counted it you would think it was unnecessary to clarify the mistake.

I just want to say that I never realized how difficult this would be with all the aliases being used. I tried to quickly breeze through the thread but that's impossible to do.... I really need to sit and read post to post... I still am having a hard time but I am here.

Lol, it does make it tougher, especially since you can't reference a player's particular style to know if what they're posting is a scum-tell or not. But it does make it more fun as well.

Which is it? Dead or Day 1 voting? Odd that you would not place a vote with the first post, oh I forgot it was dead. Then you must of remembered it was Day one and there is nothing to go on. Makes perfect sense. Looks like a normal day one. Why make an excuse for your vote? Why make an excuse for not being around? I vote to burn the wizard at the stake.

I was getting ready for work and thought of something that I felt I should bring up. I know this is from day one, but Wiz never really commented or replied. Someone else sort of replied for him. Yes, these posts were 12 hours apart, but only 7 posts apart. The whole, "I hate day one voting" is a cop out also. The not responding to direct questions and ignoring them altogether is scummy at best. The being busy IRL is a fact that most of us deal with. I can't imagine that Wiz has been unable to read and make some posts yet. I would have expected Wiz to come at me with something. From what I have read, Wiz does not normally back down from a challenge. I feel cheated getting the waterdowned Wiz (maybe he is melting).

So because we are active that is scummy? Is that really what you mean? I am sure I just mis-understood. Could you explain what really seems scummy? I am sure it is more than being active. Is it my weak reason for voting on Wiz on Day one? Now that makes some sense. It really is not that much, but it is what I put out there. I am sharing my thoughts with the rest of the players. Instead of posting about how dead it is, which 24 hours into day two is an embaressment, I have posted my thoughts and answered questions directed to me. Please give more detials when you say you want to burn someone. And no, I will not lighten up.

You're taking my words out of context. In reality it's hard to suspect anyone when they aren't participating because other than them being quiet there is nothing concrete to point towards. You and HH have been posting quite a bit compared to others. That isn't to say I suspect you two just because of that...what you have said has certainly made me stop and ponder. HH because of the whole Cnote/wing nut "protection" theory with Wiz and you because quite honestly I don't think you're playing truthfully. You are questioning me in a rather round-a-bout way.

Who would have you switched to? What player? Who would have you been tied up with? Yes, spell it out to me.

Why would it matter who I would have switched to? I'd say that of the people up for the vote that you or Nem would have gotten my vote if i would had have the chance to switch and IF I felt compelled to actually switch. Again, that's based on D1 activity. All that matters is that when you switched there were multiple people that would have tied it up and you never distinguished why you chose Driver over the others until people asked. I've yet to question your decision AFTER you explained it...but you act as if I have. I don't see why you think it is a big deal.

Too funny, your suspects are active posters. then you switch focus on the non-posters all the while not answering direct questions. You question my vote on Driver 8, I give you an answer, but you will not answer my question. If you were in my shoes, who would have you switched your vote to? Why? Part of me hopes you and Wiz are not both witches, you really can't be that bad at this game. Is Wiz such a good player that Hammer would stick their neck out for to get burned? Would Hammer do this if he was a witch? Hammer is willing to go up against Wiz. What is your hesitation in casting a vote? You have read and you have suspects. What are you waiting for? Which is the harder choice, voting on who to burn or figuring out who to kill at nightfall?

Woah woah...pump the brakes. I never singled out my suspects as "active posters" other than the fact that there is hardly anything else to go and thus given the timing of my post I would have voted for a couple of people that have posted more than others. The other post in question was merely a reminder that there are players who have yet to contribute ANYTHING within the last 24 hours PLUS. Does that not worry you?

For the bazillionth time I am pretty sure that I would have switched. I don't see how you have missed the fact that I have already answered that question multiple times. As for why, I can certainly spell out the statistics if you want me to although it's definitely been discussed in recent games, if I'm remembering correctly.

As for why I'm waiting for my vote...I guess I'm not entirely sure with who I would vote for at this point. Why does it matter to you that I haven't voted yet? I don't think I have ever indicated that I am really all that sure about whom I "suspect". I'm not a person who will rush a vote...

He was actually quite right you never said that the 3rd vote on Tree was scummy until after you switched your vote. Also, why would you pretend that you didn't know who you 'randomly' voted for? You took the time to link to her profile but when you were called on it it somehow slipped your mind?

You're completely ignoring this post at number 109, made more than an hour before I voted for Driver at post 124 :

Ok I am out for a while. I reread and I suppose I would say that if the jump aboard Tree Hugger was the mafia team move then this will be a very easy game for the town.

So aside from the scummiest post being the wizard stirring things a bit (which is also capable of being read as an innocent and pro town post) the scummiest move so far is probably the third vote on Tree Hugger which I think was Driver8 (?). That's about as much as you could make out of the game so far.

Building a case against someone based on mis-direction or skimming is not pro-town.

By the way what are saying I took the time to link to a profile for ? I certainly didn't do so deliberately and I've gone back through my posts and I don't find any links. Can you show me the post ?

Wing-Nut made a lengthy but ultimately quite pointless post which I though was worth addressing.

Well thought out post but again how can anyone seemingly clear anyone this early in a game? What makes you think the spell used is a double vote spell?

1. I didn't clear anyone. I took some available objective information and put up some analysis. All of my thoughts were expressed as mild leanings, and I took the time to explain where I was coming from. You've put words in my mouth that I never used. Not Pro-Town Wing Nut.

2. I referenced the double vote power spell in passing because hypothetically if it was used and the witches were aware it was used there could be different explanations for behaviour (like if they knew that Tree was not going into a tie, because someone had a double vote)

This was mistaken by me in two ways. A) the spells come in on night 2 and B) the warlock appears to be a pro-town role and not in league with the witches. I made subsequent posts pointing this out. You however have focused back on it here, which is a misunderstanding of the rules by you and a failure to read my subsequent posts and assess them fairly. This is mis-direction or skimming. Not Pro-Town.

I wanted to readdress this post. I agree Wiz is usually more vocal, I hate to not believe he is busy but as proven in other games players will lie about being busy. I will have to see how it pans out. Your gut feeling claim would gather more interest from me if I knew you weren't wrong about me. Since your assessment that gets you to Wiz being the HP goes through me protecting him with my vote. But I will keep an open mind.

Despite claiming to be an open mind this has to be read as a defence of Wizard, for good or for ill. Its also a reliance on Wing Nuts own innocent status, which is a scum tell.

I don't know how I feel about this post this early in the game. Basically its an extension of their earlier post. I will wait till they reread and see how much their thoughts change if any.

The post you reference was made clear to be an early game post based on Day 1 voting. A simple effort to use the available information. Of course when I make these kind of posts, I am not just looking to garner support for my views, I'm also looking to assess the reactions.

What is your thought on the spell then? My thought on watching the possible UD is based on it being the #3 spell, is there any other reason you don't want them watched other then you don't think its spell 3? If it is spell 3 what are your thoughts about it then?

There are currently 3 players (scoop, rickets, Uhoh) who have yet to post since before last nightfall and if I'm not mistaken all of their last posts were thier D1 joke/random votes.

Then there's also Gun who hasn't said anything since nightfall except they hate UDs.

Why all the hiding?

A valid question early in the game is whether the mafia team are likely to be lurkers. Based on objective experience mafia members don't UD and tend to have higher activity levels.

In passing I note that all of the interesting posting in this game has started with Hammerheads attack on Wizard which has really ratcheted up the activity. That doesn't mean Hammerhead is correct, or innocent, but its interesting.
