I feel like this was a stupid question, but perhaps the answer isn't what I expect.

That being said...I would be interested in knowing Tree why you chose Driver over the other players with 2 votes. I believe someone may have already asked this but I thought I would as well, just in case.

This is why I am on you about who you would have chosen. From the best I can tell from your response is that you would have randomly picked from the others that has two votes on them. I have asked you to put yourself in my shoes, I guess you are unable to do that. It would have been nice to have you pick out a name and give reasons. Maybe if you were able to do that, you would understand why I did what I did and why I picked who I picked. Why did it matter who I picked to you, if you would have just randomly picked someone? Why are you holding me to a higher standard than you would have for your own self? Who would have you preferred I voted for to get in a tie with? You act like I am making a big deal out of this, but I am responding to your questions to me. How can you ask a question you are unwilling to answer. More double standards. You have me as a suspect because I have not stated if I have played before, which I answered that question. Really, anyone using an alias is not playing truthfully. I still am unsure why you have me as one of your top two suspects. I know you answered. Your answer was just weak.

Once again, after you responded to why you chose Driver I never questioned your reasoning for doing so, other than you didn't originally state it was a move to save yourself.

I would have picked randomly, but you didn't make that indication clear or really give any reason why other than to tie it up and to learn something. Generally those types of votes will get questioned, regardless.

I am unable to pick names and give reasons because none of the options would even warrant a reason other than it would have been random, had I been in that situation. I've already said that can see why YOU chose Driver but given my frame of thought I'm not sure I would have made the same decision.

Being able to answer a question that I pose to someone else defeats the purpose of answering the question in the first place...

Ok so my thoughts on Wiz….
The votes on Tree: the whole situation seems a little bizarre to me. It appears that some ones feathers were rubbed the wrong way, as to who I can’t say… something is just….off. It does seem that Tree poked a sensitive spot on wiz but even though there was the issue of the 12 discrepancy in wiz’s posts that was initially over looked. Just to make things clear, by saying that someone was rubbed the wrong way, I don’t mean that the content of the posts states their level of agitation, but how rapid fire the votes were after the normal day 1 banter.
- Driver’s vote is obviously irrelevant now.
- C-note seems to be the only one that wasn’t a joke
- Wing’s vote appears to be a joke; I’m not dismissing his vote at the time just stating an obvious fact. But it is possible that this joke is a guise to toss out a quick D1 vote and hide his protection of wiz.
After Wiz was questioned about his vote he didn’t answer at all, I’ve played quite a few games with Wiz and usually he doesn’t shut up. He’s all about asking questions, kicking bushes, and slinging mud and this game he well…just gone. Not doing anything of the normal Wiz stuff, rather posting excuses and poor busy Wiz pity posts, while he could very well be busy but he could also be lying. I find it hard to believe that he can’t find any time at all to post, a hiding Wiz isn’t innocent play for Wiz.

Based on all of this I vote to burn Wiz at the stake ​

I will try to make this coherent.

I have had the finger pointed at me for not even responding to Tree's D1 vote post. To be honest, by the time I saw it, half the town had already pointed out the discrepancy in it and I didn't see what sense it made to repeat one more time that there were several hours between my two posts.

Which is it? Dead or Day 1 voting? Odd that you would not place a vote with the first post, oh I forgot it was dead. Then you must of remembered it was Day one and there is nothing to go on. Makes perfect sense. Looks like a normal day one. Why make an excuse for your vote? Why make an excuse for not being around? I vote to burn the wizard at the stake.

Tree's initial D1 vote. Reads to me like his stated reason for voting was crap. He doesn't like that I complained about the lack of posting and doesn't like the fact that I gave an explanation with my joke vote. He doesn't like that I didn't vote in my first post. (obviously not noticing the difference between the two posts in time) Tree I always wait until the morning of the nightfall to place my vote. You never know if something noteworthy will be posted.

Notice the question in red, yet he makes an excuse for his vote.

I do not think it is within the spirit of the game to answer your question if I have played before. I am unsure if you asking the question is within the spirit of the game. I am wondering if FireDancer7905 is called simply Fire from his/her friends. The players name is "the wizard". Why did you not question the player who spelled out (or copied and pasted) FireDancer7905?

Refused to answer a light hearted D1 question as to whether or not he had played mafia before. Yet later in this post you will see him accuse Doom of dodging his question.

He doesn't want to answer if he is a newb or not yet as the quoted posts show, he seems to post like one until his later posts where it appears as if he has played before.

I retract my vote on the wizard and vote to burn Driver 8 at the stake.

This is to tie the vote up. I hope the whatever happens, something is learned from this. I guess voting for someone not using an alias was bad as they are a good player and has many friends playing. I am not sure what that has to do with the game, maybe it will be explained later.

His vote switch, he states that it was because he shouldn't have voted for a vet not using an alias. I don't buy it. He had three votes on him. Firedancer had voted me by then so I had 2. I think he was affraid of me ending up in a tie, losing the coin toss and being accused of leading the charge to get me burned. I think his initial thought was that he knew who I was and wanted to eliminate a sure threat as opposed to eliminating a question as to who would be a threat and who wouldn't.

This is why I made the comment about the wizard being a good player. I have also came to the conclusion that he plays often (more then FireDancer7905) and because of this he has friends that call him by Wiz. I think making comments about day one being dead or really any comments made about the lack of activity without adding to the activity is a scum tell. Complaining about the lack of posts is just filler. Making an excuse that there is nothing to go on, like every other day 1 in any mafia game ever played, adds nothing to the game. A seasoned vet, as I assume the Wiz (may I call you that?) is, should be aware of this. Now we have a player sticking their neck out to burn the Wiz at the stake even offering to be put up against them, on day two of all things. I vote to burn the Wiz at the stake. To answer why I tied it up, there was over an hour left, if anyone made any changes, then we could learn something. I choose Driver 8 for a few reasons, one they were the vote on me that put me in the lead, they had very few posts, they claimed they were coming back and that their vote was temporary. We also should be looking at who the witches hit, it was the most active poster. Was this to frame someone or to keep activity down? I will attempt to answer the questions aimed at me. I hope this clears some of that up.

Here is his D2 vote, again on me but, only after HH has come after me. Starting on me nearly got him lynched. Now he will follow on me (easier to not be in the limelight that way)

Of course it had something to do with the fact that I was in the lead to get burned. I guess I felt that was a given. You have played mafia before I take it. What would have you done? Really, what would have you done if you were in my shoes with a little over an hour left? Would have you just get burned? Let's say I did nothing? Then what. Is that what you would have done? Nothing? It was day one. So where do you stand on Hammer stating that they are sure that Wiz is scum? Are you going to vote for Wiz? Hammer? Me? Do you have a better choice? Are you just going to wait and see if someone else brings a better suspect? Over 20 hours into day two, Hammer has a gut feeling and you think he just needs some Pepto Bismol? I don't think he is joking.

So because we are active that is scummy? Is that really what you mean? I am sure I just mis-understood. Could you explain what really seems scummy? I am sure it is more than being active. Is it my weak reason for voting on Wiz on Day one? Now that makes some sense. It really is not that much, but it is what I put out there. I am sharing my thoughts with the rest of the players. Instead of posting about how dead it is, which 24 hours into day two is an embaressment, I have posted my thoughts and answered questions directed to me. Please give more detials when you say you want to burn someone. And no, I will not lighten up.

Who would have you switched to? What player? Who would have you been tied up with? Yes, spell it out to me.

Too funny, your suspects are active posters. then you switch focus on the non-posters all the while not answering direct questions. You question my vote on Driver 8, I give you an answer, but you will not answer my question. If you were in my shoes, who would have you switched your vote to? Why? Part of me hopes you and Wiz are not both witches, you really can't be that bad at this game. Is Wiz such a good player that Hammer would stick their neck out for to get burned? Would Hammer do this if he was a witch? Hammer is willing to go up against Wiz. What is your hesitation in casting a vote? You have read and you have suspects. What are you waiting for? Which is the harder choice, voting on who to burn or figuring out who to kill at nightfall?

The posts above reveal a pattern. HH has come after me and also has been going back and forth with Doom.

Tree has come in, voted me and now is accusing Doom of not answering a direct question. Remember, Tree didn't want to answer whether or not he was a newb.

Also of interest, is that with all the players we have in this game, Tree seems to be following HH's lead. He hasn't been after anyone but me and Doom.

When asked by HH his thoughts on HH's other suspects, he replied he wanted to take it one scum at a time. It looks as if, confident that I will be burned tonight, that he is getting his footing in to set up the next victim.

I was getting ready for work and thought of something that I felt I should bring up. I know this is from day one, but Wiz never really commented or replied. Someone else sort of replied for him. Yes, these posts were 12 hours apart, but only 7 posts apart. The whole, "I hate day one voting" is a cop out also. The not responding to direct questions and ignoring them altogether is scummy at best. The being busy IRL is a fact that most of us deal with. I can't imagine that Wiz has been unable to read and make some posts yet. I would have expected Wiz to come at me with something. From what I have read, Wiz does not normally back down from a challenge. I feel cheated getting the waterdowned Wiz (maybe he is melting).

It took you 3 RL days to realize I didn't reply to what I took to be a random D1 vote? Well I replied now.

I think you have been playing inconsistent. Like a newb, then like a vet, not letting on if you had played before yet coming at me because I wanted to see something after 24hrs of game play.

With as many players as we have, there should have been a lot more posting than there has been. I think most are posting sparingly to not let on who they are.

I also think that you and HH are working together. Your D1 vote was an attempt to eliminate a threat. Instead you almost became BBQ. When my lack of time became apparent, the two of you decided to make it a game plan, eliminate the threat and save your spell for someone else. You two seem to be working together to set Doom up for the next BBQ.

The question is, why did you let HH take the charge this time? Was it because you almost became toast last time? I HH more expendable than you? I think so. When I get burned, you only followed HH onto me so you will not be toasted the next night. I think you are the one that needs to be toasted and we can get your henchman HH the next night.

Wiz, when you come up a witch, I fully expect to be a top suspect. Someone has already posted about latching. By following Hammers vote on you, I have put myself in a no win situation. It would have been much smarter for me to lay low. I almost got burned on day one. Instead, I have done my best to be active. I have already come to conclusion that your burning is best for the town. One day it might be best for the town to burn me, when that day comes, I will understand. I do not believe that this is that day. As long as I am burned after you, I will be at peace. As far as being a noob, if there was an alias [AC] Wiz, I would think it was being used by a noob. Many players have made comments about your game play. So your vote is on me because I have not said if I had played before? It has nothing to do with my vote on you yesterday, my comments made about you yesterday, my vote on you today or my comments about you made today? I sense a little OMGUS. Also, how is the truck?
