Mafia 101 - Blarney Castle: Return of the Leprechauns - Game Thread

Slow day I see. Not a lot to read through or catch a slip or real importance...kind of puts folks in the position to ride the "wave" on O3T (can't see it as a train right now), throw another random out there since there wouldn't be any quotable justification for it. I think AAF's vote on HI Q is really their version of an OMGUS vote over the previous banter. I'll take the wave for now...subject to change...not that I see enough new input happening to do so...

I vote to lynch O3T...

I hope Chill does show up. UDs suck.

I guess if he is a Lep I wont mind

Well, it's not like Chill to UD so I expect he'll be along with a vote soon.

It better be real soon.

Like supa quick yo

Especially if Lab followed what it says in the rules. 3 leps and 1 lep who is on their own. Those aren't good odds. Especially with a UD. I think when I ran this the first time there were 16 players and that's what those numbers were from.

I just need to point out, this is rather interesting the ones on Red...all posting right before nightfall and all waiting on Chill ??? Then Dawgs post kinda stands out to me here, who were you posting this to Dawg and why?

Kash, Dawg and O3T...had Chill "come along" with a vote, and it wasn't on either of the two up for the lynch....what would you of done?

For now, I retract my vote on O3T I have some thinking to do about Kash and Dawg right now. Will wait to see who answers what before I decide my vote but it will be for one of the three, O3T,Kash or Dawg.

Not much to catch up but this caught my eye.

I thought OT3 was picking on AAF an awful lot. Enough to wonder if O3T was trying to make AAF look defensive and get him voted. The main argument against that idea was O3T took it a bit far IMO to just say, oops I was wrong once AAF flipped innocent. If scum, OT3 didn't seem to leave themself an "out" along the way and that certainly wasn't just mild distancing between the two. For that reason I kinda wanted AAF to go instead of Red.... thinking that might tell us something at least about O3T.

I also felt kinda bad about voting Red myself once Dawg tied the tally between him and AAF. The only reason I voted Red was because we started playing mafia around the same time some 50 games or so ago. Back when we were both noobs he and I went after each other a lot!!

In the end, I didn't switch off Red though because Dawg tied them up and it was interesting to see if that would shake someone else out into view... I didn't have anyone else in mind to vote... I wanted to see which way Chill decided to vote when he got here and saw the tie... and even if AAF was innocent, changing my vote from Red to someone else wouldn't have saved him anyway.

I must say that I too was hoping the coin toss would go the other way. It piqued my interest the way O3T was going after AAF yesterday. When AAF first posted his response about Fozzy being the last to post before him I thought he had screwed up. Then O3T started in at him constantly and it caught my eye. We were talking about muppets and toes was like a pit bull with his teeth in AAF's arse. I thought AAF getting the lynch would reveal something about O3T.

Now we have IQ taking up where O3T left off. The amazing thing is, actually there are two amazing things. First being that IQ was unable to trip AAF up with his repeated questioning. I do believe that to be a first for AAF. :y220e:
The second point is that neither O3T nor IQ initiated the questioning. They both have gone after AAF on a point that someone else mentioned or questioned him about and apparently was satisfied with the answer as they have moved on.

Could there be a connection here? Is it just coincidence?

Would either you O3T or you IQ care to answer to this bizarre coincidence?

I think its interesting that both of you wanted the coin toss to go the other way to see if it told you anything about Toes but neither of you moved to AAF to find out. If someone piques your interest and its Day 1 with not much to go on,never mind the fact innocents usually go first, why not vote a person that would in the end tell you more about another suspect?

Wizard, I didn't take over where Toes left off. I wanted more clarification and to be sure, I couldn't just write it off as ok I believe you. Just because Toes was happy with his answer I was supposed to accept it? Anything after post 182 was just messing with him because I was bored and he was making me laugh by getting frustrated.

I have to wonder if you guys didn't move to AAF and are targeting those who question him because you are protecting him? Besides Toes. He was already screwed before you came on. Is this a plan to attach him to me and get me lynched next?

At this point I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about either of you and one of you will likely be my vote tomorrow.

Why not tonight?

Why not tonight?

Because Toes is obvious scum. And even though Kashta and Wizard are probably more dangerous if scum the numbers aren't there to lynch them.

Ok, not that it is a big deal but actually I think you are both wrong. Chill and I mess with each other quite often yes...but I don't think either of us vote the other very often on day one unless there truely is something behind it. I actually was worried others would question me about my vote simply because we really don't vote each other often in a "random" vote and Chill is a bad one to loose if innocent. The only reason I actually did it this time was because I did actually have a "feel" from his posting, yet I wasn't sure and didn't think he would really get voted off on day one so it was a way to let him know I had that feeling, but if I was wrong he wasn't really threatened.

Now, I do find it interesting that both Kash and Dawg are saying we often vote each other day one.

This question is to Dawg also...did either of you feel Chill would come on and break the tie?

For now I vote to lynch O3T I just can't over look them saying Chill was the only one who knew he was evil.

I didn't say anything about day 1. Reread the post you quoted from me.

I was posting this to the Town. It was an add on to my previous post. I made up this game the first time it was played and I thought the numbers seemed stacked toward the scum. Luckily Chill helped us out with that.

Dawg I'd be interested in hearing an answer to the questions LG posted for you in post 219 and 223. You answered post 222 even though you didn't quote it. If Chill didn't break the tie what would you have done and did you think Chill would break the tie?

Scratch that, you did quote 222. But I still would like to see answers to the other 2 questions.

No, you did not specifically say day one...that is true, Kash is the one who said day 1 you agree we vote each other often...which really isn't true either, unless we really feel the other is scum (or of course one of us is scum trying to get the other lynched).

Okay, I see and if Chill had shown and voted, what were your plans? (Since you said you wanted to see if your vote caused movement and how Chill would vote)
