However, you did say we should have lists (I can quote it if you want :P) so where's your list?

In fact, just so we have it for the record, what is everyone's current suspect list? They may come in handy later on.

Mine is as follows (in no order):

Rich - for his possible slip up with wording.
Bally - If I'm correct on Rich's slip then bally would be evil as well.
Neph - Though I'm not sure if I agree that his 'blood on my hands' comment was a slip or just nerves, so my vote won't land there.
Kashta - I still think you went for Pir with a little too much effort.

Can I ask when that point was? To be clear I'm talking about the point where you almost voted FF?

Congrats!

I tend to think AAF is just playing as usual, he always seems slightly adrift from most of us.

Neph got into this before, has a very intense playing style that draws attention, also seems to want to be perfect at this which is a goal that I do not think even exists. I do not see my vote going there.

I think lists of possible turns would help more than it would give an idea to a mafia team. I imagine today's turn is already in and filed with the mafia commission or the ice cube trays or whoever the ruling body is for an ice rink.

If I had to vote right mow I would vote Kash. I still firmly beleive she was setting Pir up to jump off the edge.
 
I also think that I would like to see a name from Dun. We should see what they were thinking or at least what they believe they were thinking. Of course if Dun is scum it will be a lie but that may help down the road.
 
I'm trying to process this Rich. Kash is your strongest suspect. You firmly believe she set Pir up to jump over the edge, but you join her in pushing Dun? I'm having a little trouble reconciling why you'd get behind her if you think she's scum. She's too good a player to push a question that would hurt her team. So if you believe she is likely scum wouldn't that make you suspect of her question as well?

Don't get me wrong I have no problem with Dun answering the question. As you can see I asked him one myself.

Why? A good player would ask questions that work, otherwise you would stand out like AAF or a sore thumb. (On an aside why is a sore thumb something that people would pick as standing out?)

Asking Dun for a name and agreeing with Kash that it would be good to hear is not pushing anyone. I think that we have the right, since we all voted to get an idea what Dun was thinking. Kash will use the info if given for her own purposes and I will use it for mine. I can tell you that if she starts to put Dun up as the suspect du jour, I will not vote that way.
 
This is a tough one as we don't have much more to go on than D1. I may or may not make it back prior to night fall so need to place my vote now.

The best suspect I have right now is Neph for reasons previously stated. Something about his responses aren't setting right with me and I can't quite put my finger on it.

I vote to lynch Neph.

Zaffy, you were more specific than most others. I'll answer the questions in order...

1. I have no clue. It may not matter at all how Dun responds... or it might become significant later on. No one could tell that yet. I just wanted him to take a position "for the record" one way or another, even if it's a day late.

2. Yes. Again, it might make little difference right now, but yes. We look back at each person's voting history once we accumulate more information. And that sometimes reveals clues about connections between players we didn't know were important back on Day 1 or Day 2.

3. Most certainly, it will. But that is another factor about his response for us to take into consideration.

4. No, of course not. If scum, he would surely lie to us. Even as an innocent, his delayed statement would likely differ from what his actual vote would have been Night 1. Even so, it still forces him to commit to an intended "vote" somewhere on Day 2 which may prove useful to us several days after the fact.

5. I don't expect to learn anything right now. I just want him to go on record... like everyone else has done.

Zaffy, I think everyone knows the benefit of vote analysis. Heck, we essentially trade innocent lives throughout the course of a game for the purpose of narrowing down our collective/contradictory suspect lists into actual details which reveals who the scum are... over time. Without asking Dun to pin this down for us now... we're letting him off the hook, as it were. And, for all we know, Dun could have dodged nightfall on purpose for that very reason.

(Not saying you did that btw, Dun.... but someone could do such a thing in a game where a person who UD's doesn't die.)

i hate to say it, but that was a lot of effort for very little in return. other than to say everyone's a suspect all i can say is the truth. truth be told (and now we're going around in circles) i literally read through the thread and thought to myself ... hmmm... almost looks as if FF isn't playing... there's no votes on him... i might have to fix that... it's D1 for crying out loud... and what would D1 be without a FF vote... for old times' sake...

i literally spent that whole day immersed in a friends PC on the other side of town through teamviewer. his wife only does facebooky things and he basically only downloads movies. so they're clueless and were running mcafee through verizon and a partial install of some norton apps. the PC was pretty mucked up and full of pre-install bloatware and expired trials. so i nearly reconfigured the whole darn thing. not to mention he was using some crappy P2P software and using pirate bay as a source for all his downloads. i still have to fix that, but he has the attention span of a rabid squirrel.

meanwhile i had the game open on another workspace. i checked through it here and there, but never had the time to really take everything in. i kept picking up where i left off hoping to remember what tidbits i'd read prior to. unfortunately, i had no concept of time throughout the whole ordeal. i just wanted to get done and was battling through the questions of a nervous end user (who doesn't remember any of her passwords) all while trying to stay focused on the final outcome.

so no... i don't have a D1 list (as i often don't... who truly and honestly does???)
but i do have some thoughts i can share (but again, IIRC, we're re-hashing)...
remember reading at that point and thinking "either pir or kash... one just must be scum"... but then there were some obviously personal asides so didn't want to make a bigger mountain out of a mountain that may have should been a molehill.
also was thinking... "who cares what random means... we're already picking from a list of players... how random could it be???" and "why such a distraction over something that's basically a given in any game? (random D1 votes)

absolutely! although, i was very distracted, so i doubt it's going to net you much.

i want to say it was around late afternoon to just about the turn to evening (EST) probably between 4 & 6 PM. but again, i had something going on, and it's 2 days later now so i can't say with any accuracy at what point i'd read up to in the game. i know i wasn't finished catching up quite yet. i don't think too far off, but can't say for sure.
