man oh man. its been a very long day. i still havent had time to read thoroughly but i have skimmed enough to see whats happening. I will read more after everyone is in bed tonight. I am sorry if i haven't been much help so far, I'm hoping tonight i can find a scumbag, build a solid case, and prove my innocence.
It is interesting to me that Mee Mee hasn't responded to my vote for her. (Unless she did and i missed it.) Maybe she's trying not to be defensive. I agree with JL that enough votes on her will make her crack. She seems like a fine suspect to me. It is alarming that more people aren't discussing her vote for noone, especially after a long first day. Are you telling me she saw nothing suspicious???

I would like to hear what you have to say before I vote.

I have read everything. You name two and a "perhaps" without very specific reasons. Sov may be guilty, but I'd really like to hear what your reasons are for suspecting her over Charlie since neither has really contributed.

My reasons for suspecting Sov over Charlie have been posted in the post I mentioned a few minutes ago, but I will say it again. She was highly defensive about a post in which I was only warning her of what not to do when posting in the game due to my experiences form the previous games, I even said I had her leaning innocent. What started it was she stated she was confused in one post and admitting skimming in another. I was only trying to tell her that she shouldn't be using the language, if she is innocent, it may give the appearance that she is not as this has been a classic scenerio and excuse for voting in the past games. I warn her, and she flips a lid and votes for me. I am not sure why she even thought I was offended, because I was far from being offended. Here is my post and then hers in rebuttal to mine. Another point she makes is she doesn't know how to multipost.... which I had never even mentioned. So not sure where it came from.

Sov, have you ever watched any of the mafia/werewolf/vampire games? The first post I noticed that was a little wrong and I let you slide for was one you admitted to being "confused". Now, you admit to skimming. Word of advice, Sov.... if you're confused, read up on the rules/confer with your team. However, I am leaning you toward innocent because I would think most of the players here are veterans and would warn you against such a blunder. But you do present an explanation of why you are not here.... hmmmm

Then you come out with this. Admitting you have "skimmed"? Another, no-no. I'm thinking maybe you should do some home work before posting anymore. Next thing you will try to do is scream out "I am innocent, I am innocent".

DD - I am sorry I offended you so with my language. Forgive me for using the word "skim" in it's true meaning. Maybe I should have clarified for all those suspicious of such an innocent word - I was able to come on for five minutes earlier - not enough time to read any post in depth. There - happy now? And for all of you who read my "confused" post, obviously I wasn't as funny as I thought, or the Bart Simpson smilie confused things. Geesh.

Please understand one or two things before I continue any further - I DO NOT know how to multipost - despite previous tutorage, I am unable to retain how to do it. Doesn't make me innocent or guilty - just unable to retain things. I also do not always have free rein to get on the family computer. Again - absence doesn't make me guilty or innocent - just busy.

If you think I am suspicious, by all means investigate me. I am not going to squawk my innocence - but I am wary of those who do. I am curious though, why she would ask me to investigate her if I think she's suspicious, investigate her. Could this be because she knows I am not on her mafia team?

Yes DD - because of your vehemence in the above post, you do strike me as suspicious. It is not a tit for tat thing - just seems to be out of sorts with your previous playing style. You may put this down to whatever reason you wish, but because I think she is truely guilty, I vote to lynch DangerDoll

OK everyone - back after a long Sunday of horse shows (yes - some of us do do things on a sunny Sunday). I do apologise for my lack of posting as referenced several times. As I previously explained, difficulties getting on the computer make me neither innocent or guilty, just busy on a holiday weekend with both kids at home. However, please feel free to investigate me if you feel the need to.

As to my helping the town - despite the temptation last night, I did not jump on the band wagon for Lady G. I was and am convinced of DD's guilt, and stuck by my vote.

I understand people vacillating between who they perceive to be guilty. Right now, everyone reminds me of a tennis match, with heads swivelling one way and then another. I think we would all be better off listening to our gut instincts and maintaining our votes until absolutly convinced otherwise. Constant changing is muddying the waters, and IMO playing right into the mafia's hands. Obviously we need consensus at night's end, but I would rather listen and process than chop and change.

I myself am strongly leaning to the following suspects, listed in order of certitude:

DD
Plantling
Chas

Cases for Plant and Chas have been made by several people. Plant seems to be very defensive when called on, and yet have nothing substantial to say when asked for her reasons. It almost seems like a "let me get a name out there" play. Chas and DD do seem to be in collusion, though less so now after having been called on it. I can almost see the "outside" mafia chat now!

For now, unless proved completely wrong, my gut feeling still rules, and I vote to lynch DangerDoll

I still don't understand your feeling on me, Sov other than I pissed you off which Pappy had actually instigated that I believe, perhaps twisting the post to carry a nasty tone. It surely wasnt meant to. However, I respect your vote I guess, it's your right.... I just don't understadn it.

This undertone is struck me as being suspicious because your reasoning was so lame. My confused post was a joke -the multipost comment was because in previous games I have been called on my lack of doing it and wanted to explain before the same thing happened this time. The reason you strike me as being guilty is that you seem to have picked the most innocuous reasons for finding me guilty - reasons that have no substance whatsoever. The sort of play that Plantling is doing - "lets just get a name out there". Is this the latest mafia strategy?

Fair enough and thanks. You make very valid points, I just see Charlie as MORE guilty than Sov at this point.

Daughter has Fall Break from college, and Son has Columbus Day off. Both hanging around the house and monopolising the computer. I also had a Columbus Day horse show near Gettysburg to attend - and I am sunburned!

Sov, if you would just read instead of skim you would know that I didn't just put your name on my list. You must have skipped over to the post where I replied to RB and just had your name and the reason on the list emboldened for emphasis. Scroll up a bit from that and you'll see my entire list. Although I may have to edit it now. Yes, for those of us that don't know who's who in the game, we sometimes change our minds. Care to help me out and name a couple of your friends?

Sov, so sorry you felt my post carried an ugly tone. Pappy had commented befor calling the post mean or however he put it, and I believe that's a good pshychology to get you to read my post as such. I was also considering Pappy commenting on it, merely because he and I were having it out and he was looking to pin everyone agaist me, trying to bring up some other things for him to mark on me to try to convince everyone I am mafia when I am not. I think he felt he was pouncing on me so hard and everyone began to see he kept pushing and then tried to get something going for someone else to pounce on me. I don't know why I am intimidating him so much or did yesterday, the more he said to me, the guiltier he seemed.

For what it is worth, I apologize if I sounded condescending, I am not that type of person, believe me. I apologize that you were offended by my post. I only thought it would help.
