And for what it's worth, I believe my reasons are on target, Sov.... I still don't understand why you flipped a cork. I just don't see why the high offense was taken, however people are different I guess. Don't you remember this is a game? I do accept that. You blew up though, lashed out with a vote for me for what was seemingly just a warning. If you are a townie, I guess you've had a hard life here in ACville...

DD -yes, of course this is a game. Should we meet outside I adore you as much as ever. However, within the gaming confines, I was annoyed at what I perceived as your condescending tone. And I read your post before I read Pappy's - I don't read the game backwards - and his post in no way influenced my reaction to yours. As stated several times, I do feel that this manner of posting has the flavour of an outside influence, and that can only come from your mafia cronies.

Oh Charlie... you could have come back with something sooo much better than this. Mee-mee being quiet is a bit odd, but I tend to think that it's because you (and team) told her to quit posting. When has she played differntly? Agreeing with JL is interesting too since both of you have seemingly switched play styles. So, what time does everyone go to bed? I'd like to be here to see your thoughts after you read through.

I agree with Hooked. I was expecting someting a little better than that. Your posts remind me of evil leaders from the last couple games. I will hear your defense but for now,

Looks like some activity finally happened...I hate football season, though it is easier to get onto the restaurants with everybody staying home on Sunday.



Interesting to note that charlie and Sov both come on right after one another in a 6 minute time span...could be just a fluke...

For the record, I thought DD's original post to Sov was just some helpful advice...

And where is mee-mee...? She hasn't been on since Saturday night....

If charlie comes up with some good info, I'd be willing to consider a vote switch, but time is running out for day 2. It will be a short time between getting off work today and night fall.

I've been wondering about Sovran's request to be investigated on the first day:

DD - I am sorry I offended you so with my language. Forgive me for using the word "skim" in it's true meaning. Maybe I should have clarified for all those suspicious of such an innocent word - I was able to come on for five minutes earlier - not enough time to read any post in depth. There - happy now? And for all of you who read my "confused" post, obviously I wasn't as funny as I thought, or the Bart Simpson smilie confused things. Geesh.

Please understand one or two things before I continue any further - I DO NOT know how to multipost - despite previous tutorage, I am unable to retain how to do it. Doesn't make me innocent or guilty - just unable to retain things. I also do not always have free rein to get on the family computer. Again - absence doesn't make me guilty or innocent - just busy.

If you think I am suspicious, by all means investigate me. I am not going to squawk my innocence - but I am wary of those who do.

Yes DD - because of your vehemence in the above post, you do strike me as suspicious. It is not a tit for tat thing - just seems to be out of sorts with your previous playing style. You may put this down to whatever reason you wish, but because I think she is truely guilty, I vote to lynch DangerDoll

There could be other possibilities, but I'm wondering if it's because Sovran is the Don as Lady G implied. Any investigations would show her as just a townie. If Sovran is the Don then it would explain why votes accumulated on Lady G so shortly and so fast after LG implied that Sov may be the Don. And yesterday morning after I pointed out the possibility I'm suddenly on some lists and the reason was because I voted for Lady G last. But that doesn't make sense because Lady G already had enough votes before my vote. If I were Mafia I would have known she was a townie and I wouldn't have risked exposing myself if she was already going to be lynched.

Just something to think about, but everytime I do it makes more and more sense.

Also it appears Sov skims quite a bit even though she's been warned not to before posting. Here she accuses me for the second time of throwing only her name out. The first I didn't respond because I didn't know what she was talking about.

DD - - your post carried a very nasty and condescending undertone indeed. Pappy mentioned it, so obviously it isn't just me being touchy. It certainly did not come across as a friendly warning. This undertone is struck me as being suspicious because your reasoning was so lame. My confused post was a joke -the multipost comment was because in previous games I have been called on my lack of doing it and wanted to explain before the same thing happened this time. The reason you strike me as being guilty is that you seem to have picked the most innocuous reasons for finding me guilty - reasons that have no substance whatsoever. The sort of play that Plantling is doing - "lets just get a name out there". Is this the latest mafia strategy?

Then I reply:

Sov, if you would just read instead of skim you would know that I didn't just put your name on my list. You must have skipped over to the post where I replied to RB and just had your name and the reason on the list emboldened for emphasis. Scroll up a bit from that and you'll see my entire list. Although I may have to edit it now. Yes, for those of us that don't know who's who in the game, we sometimes change our minds. Care to help me out and name a couple of your friends?

Just to clarify, these are the posts I'm referring to. In post 567 I posted my list. In post 584 I quoted my list w/only Sov's name to emhazsize to RB the reason why she's on my list:

I didn't consider DD because I didn't think she was Mafia. Nor did I think Ice was and have stated that about the both of them while they were arguing back and forth.

I agree that JL's vote changing is weird.

JL-odd vote switching and little posting to go on
CS- usually kicking in more doors. Parked vote on Jp and that's about all
and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this.
Z and/or HN- both switched from Jp to LG, Z not voting for the last to post as he stated he would because it was HN and HN already had one vote from JL.

If you went over her posts, as you did mine, most of them are just jokes and such. In Game 4 she actually had suspect lists. It doesn't take that long to make up a suspect list. Though you think little of my posts, I asked questions to those I felt were suspicious and I got my answers. I got something out of them enough to where I had DP leaning innocent as well as Jp now. And others may think I'm guilty for it but I think DD is innocent and Swayde also. You, I'm not so sure on. You don't seem to feel any regret for your Lady G vote.

I believe if Sovran was paying attention she would have known that there were others on my list. I even posted that I may also vote w/ Jpappy on Charlie unless a better suspect came along. Well, I may have found a better suspect. Sovran exhibits the classic Mafia symptoms. Confusion, skimming, naming basically only those who name her, and revenge voting IMO because if she also suspects Charlie and he already has a few votes then why vote DD who has none? Because DD cast suspicion on Sov?

What are others thoughts on Sov being Mafia and even the Don?

To My Accusers:
Shame on you all for trying to sully my previously good character. I hope you all will reconsider your votes. If the only thing suspicious is that I'm not pounding on doors or beating the bushes then i am sorry. I will make an effort to kick in a few doors on my way out. I have had a hard time trying to find the time this week-end to read the thread. The only time i have is late at night or early in the morning. My company leaves today (not a moment too soon) so if i make it through today i will be able to be more helpful. I have some thoughts on a couple of suspects.
Mee Mee- a vote for noone on a long first day. in the past, people have almost been lynched just for suggesting it. she has been very quiet this game (of note: so have i). I suspect her teamates have told her to post as little as she can get away with. We all know what happens when she's mafium.
Sovran- her avatar first made me suspicious. its a creepy skeleton. It says "I come to you at night". Hmmmmmmm....Plantling, who is leaning innocent to me, has also made some valid points.
Jpap- insists me and DD are a team (i wish) because i agreed with her. Suddenly we're on his list together. I think DD made a valid point and now we're in cahoots. I also agree with JL about Mee Mee and Plantling about Sovran. Am i on a team with Plantling and JL??? The timing of the whole work/volunteer thing was suspicious.
Thats my short list, i will try to work on a complete scaled list, but basically I am suspicious of everybody at this point, I'm just more suspicious of these three.

Charlie is saddened by recent events. He stares back at his accusers through a veil of tears. Are they evil men working to destroy all that Charlie has helped build here in ACville??? Or are they townies, scared and confused, being herded like sheep towards the precipice of disaster??? Will Charlie find a way to renew thier faith in him, or will they send him to the clearing at the end of the path with the music of his snapping bones in his ears???
