Well, this is the one that made me go "hmmm" to begin with. IME, mafia jump on small things and try to get others to go with them. The fact that, they posted just to let us know they are here is really nothing IMO to be called out for....it happens alot on day one and first posts.

from what I read of the other games questioning people that didn't state an opinion and posted just to post seemed to be how to find out people 3toes. maybe i should watch and read more.

Then you come in and "play the noob card", maybe you are new...I don't know...but if you have "read" and "watched" the game enough to know, this is suspicous then wouldn't you also know that this "noob card" would also seem suspicous?

The reason is because they have not posted yet and was the first name I came across in the list of players to not post anything yet. I believe the Mafia will try very hard to slip under the radar and be as quiet as possible since it's going to be really hard to read people this round with the anonymous userID's. So this vote is an attempt to get lucky at nailing a lurking mafia, or draw a townie out into the discussion. Nevertheless, it is subject to change since it's still quite early in the game.

Although I am all for calling people out for not posting or voting, this caught my eye a bit...simply because at this time you, yourself had really not posted much yet..I think this was your 4th post, and the only one that really said anything. It was still early for a day one so someone not posting yet (at that time) really IMO is not suspicous enough for a VOTE, yes maybe a post about "where are you" or something but a vote? Especially when others had not posted yet either.
Not really a reason to get my vote or anything but it was something that stood out to me a bit.

I don't know Tree....I find it hard to believe that with only 4 evils, they would stay that low? I could see them lingering in the middle somewhere...but the low/late posters are usually called out as Mafia, most of the time they are not...yes there are times that they are, but I believe they are not more then they are. Like I said though with only 4 I don't think they are going to be "obvious".

Although I to would like to see some thoughts from Doomsday, I am hoping for no UDs this round!!

Clearly it stood out to you, you took the time to comment about it twice now. I'd say that the vote for Doomsday did it's job. It got people talking and reacting to it. How else are we supposed to figure out people's roles unless we can manage to get them talking and reacting? What better way to get reactions from people then to get some votes out there? Do you really think the Mafia are going to throw out any more posts then they need to? Do you really think they want to give us any more information than absolutely necessary? It's all well and good to believe they are going to be middle of the road posters, and that may very well happen, but someone who isn't going to post and be helpful is going to help the mafia as well, no matter which side they are on, so it's best to get them drawn out and posting IMO.

So Driver, is Doomsday a teamate of yours that you want to protect, or are they an innocent that you want to try to kiss up to?

How did I describe myself? I have nothing to hide and I will post accordingly. And yes, I do believe they will protect each other by at least not voting for each other and not calling each other out and tossing out doubts as they can to mislead us and steer us away from them. It's going to be hard enough for us to get a read on people, they should not need to do much and frankly, the less they say and do on the first couple days, the better off they will be as we start connecting the dots.

Thanks for completely ignoring the question addressed specifically to YOU however at the end of my post. And for not offering any better suggestions to my question on how else we should get people posting/reacting to get information out there to start forming opinions.

IDK But, I do see both of your points about what you are trying to say but one of you seem too be mafia to me. But then again the way games seem to get played it seems that the innocents are always the first ones to cut their own throats. All the while the evils just interject little comments and make themselves look innocent. They let the others run themselves ragged and tear themselves to shreads picking themselves off. Well with the way this day one is going it seems that this one will be no different.

Oh, I didn't completly IGNORE the question addressed to me, you wanted to know if I WERE PROTECTING DOOMSDAY, I responded to that specificly with DO YOU THINK MAFIA WOULD PROTECT EACH OTHER.

No, I am not protecting this person not in anyway, just questioning your reason for a vote....I got a response which is what I wanted. What better way to figure people out and get them talking then to question them right? I said I had suspicoun on you I questioned you I got a response...that is what I was looking for. Thank you.
