If no one wants to assign investigations by having the town vote for their top 6 suspects as I suggested I don't have an issue with that. I agree it could screw up the PR's but it could also give us a lot of good information quickly while we have greater numbers.

I guess we will all have to investigate who we individually suspect and may all end up investigating the same person just as Ice previously suggested. I agree that a snitch found in an innocent non PR investigation needs to be given up right away. If found to be a lie we know the liar is a snitch. This tactic will also get the snitches 1 step closer to the PR's because they will now know an innocent non PR.

Ice, how did you want to go about telling people who we investigated? If everyone decides to make their investigations on night 2 it will be too late to talk this thing through.

Really, I'm not sure at this point what would be best as far as our investigations. I could see everyone naming a few names of who they are most suspicious of just like we always do, but I do not know that naming who your investigation will be on would be more helpful or more hurtful at this point in the game. I really can see both ways on this...but as I said, at this time, I'm not sure it would be a good idea

ok, just got back from the boat a little while ago and just finished catching up for the day. Heere are my thoughts on what's transpired since yesterday (real time).


the reason I saw that as bent out of shape, G is because it wasn't simply and OMGUS vote, it was an OMFGUS vote. The F letter, well, it cranks up the tone a notch for me when reading. Here's that post I am referring to right below...




Eh, I am used to Judge with her roleplays.... theproblem I do find with the role plays though is I tend to get bored half way through them and skip right over them... can it be called skimming, probably but sometimes I just don't have the patience to sit and read through them.... oh, and you're not alone Noodles, I wasn't offered any either... it's ok though, I don't like Tequila anyway.


I would agree with this except, not everyone can be trusted in the game and how are we supposed to decipher who is trying to twist things with lies and who is actually innocent and telling the truth?


A 3 way check still doesn't guarantee anything and it takes 2 free for the choosing extra investigations away from innocents.

jm, for a statement like this, one of those novel posts you talk about later in the game is needed here. You need to say just what these "neew" eyes are detecting. It only helps the innocents to get your thoughts out there to discuss... unless of course you are not working for the innocents.

WOW!! This is quite a statement jm.... I don't think ANY newbie has ever considered day 1 as the chit chat day... someone tell you that?

I have played enough games to know not to trust anyone and I think I have even said something to that effect during the games. But as I also have already said I do not like voting out newbs night 1 because jumpiness and weird posting is usually due to nerves or just plain lack of experience. Questioning on the other hand is still welcome...

This is what you said in response so my vote post. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, but you acknowledged that I posted a reason in the vote post. All I meant to say was that you acknowledged that a reason was posted. I even stated that you didn't agree.

The whole investigation thing seems like a curse, but if done carefully could flush atleast one snitch out.

The way i see it working out.

To make it random everyone could investigate the person above thier name in the players list. A non random investigation could allow snitches to screw things up.

If any snitches are found then that info is shared right away, any other results shouldn't be shared. This will keep the PRs safe.

It's just that simple, everyone one who is innocent gets one piece of info to work with, and might even find a snitch.

I think it's a worthwild idea

Dang...I guess there really is no good way to orchestrate this investigation deal. We'll just all have to trust who we trust and hope not everyone investigates the same person...end of story.
