Mafia 42: Assassin in the Palace (The Play)

It has really been busy in here since last night...;) Unfortunately I won't be able to get on again until tonight.

I'm throwing LG out there because no one has really looked at her yet. She does seem a little fishy to me with her uncharacteristic low posting this round. Assassin? I am also ready to vote for Mal if she comes up on the list again.
 
Well, that was not how I expected things to go at all. I figured I would come back in and find myself hanging from the rafters or some such. I don't like the way that swung to Ice, because we just gave the assassin another non-King. I am still a proponent of lynching Mal, and if it gets me lynched so be it.

Dawg, I agree LG is suddenly very quiet. I'd also like to hear more from JBand noodles even if it's idle chatter. But I just don't like how twice now Mal has popped on RIGHT AFTER the lynch and said she was here, only to never post again.

Well the assassin definitely knows Ice and BKW were not the king. I still think we have done a good job as guards to keep the rest in question. The problem is that the more of our own we vote out the worse our chances are to keep the king hidden.

I can understand what you are saying about Ice, Z. But I think we all really had a good feeling that Ice was the assassin. Between all the points Ogre and I brought up and his strange behavior I think everyone thought we had him cornered. The main thing that sold it for me on Ice was this post.

I don't see how JBs post shows Mal isn't King either. I think you are trying to out the King here Zsand. We could put 3 votes on the King easily. The 4th vote could be the assassin but there would still be a guard to vote the other player. Like Dawg said its all about tricking the assassin.

I think we should keep the voting to 2 people per day. We need to mix it up and have the King,if we haven't already :evil_lol: in the loop of voting as to not give them away. With keeping to 2 players we never give out to much info and still have a chance at getting the assassin, never put more then 3 votes on 1 of the people. We could vote out 1 person then the next day use the person that was saved the previous day plus another player.

Like yesterday it was BKW and Mal....today Mal and Z...tomorrow Mal and Noodles then Mal/Noodles and JB etc....use whover in place of Noodles and JB just used them as an example,it could be whoever we decide at the time but you get the drift I hope.

This idea is the perfect way to show the assassin who the king is. Ice is asking us to vote two people every day and include the king in our voting. Then the next day we are supposed to keep the person who didn't get voted out and add another to the vote. If we did this the king would be the one to continually not get voted out each day. The reason I didn't bring it up before is because I wanted to see if anyone else would agree to this plan.

Hopefully we can do better this time around.

Well I thought it was creepy he agreed with me but Ice always sets traps so that alone wasn't a scumtell to me. Regardless, I think we need to vote Mal, the way she pops in at just the right moments unnerves me, and otherwise what has she done for the King?
 
Just wanted to post so I am not lurking. I am at work but trying to keep up with the days events/posts. This is proving to be a very tricky game. Mal not voting and just posting after the lynch to say "I'm here" is very weird IMO. Also, I know LG said she had to work in the evening but she is definitely a low poster this game. Does low posting indicate assassin? I am not sure - could be - but the assassin could also be posting lots to pump for info.....GAH!!! We really can't afford to lose more guards...

I vote to lynch Malbri. If she is not the assassin, she is totally useless to the king as a guard and this will narrow down the suspects. I hate to lose more guards than necessary but............:huh: I do not mean to sound flippant but seriously she has not had any productive input in this game.........(if you are not assassin - sorry Mal)
