Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

So, you're suggesting that on day 1, it's likely that 2 out 3 names send up to bala would be scum? That's simply absurd. I was hoping someone else would step up, never happened. So rather than stand on the tracks to "wait and see", I got off. Had I waited, then either kash, or DD (whoever the coin chose) would be in postion to make it a 2 person race by switching their votes to me. That would have increased my risk from 33% to 50%, By waiting I reduced my risk to 0%. so waiting was the safest option

So, why did you switch off of Kash and vote for rocker, a dead end vote.

Smile for me.
Not at all, I'd ask you to reread my post. I am suggesting if one of the other two that were tied with you were a vamp then the second vamp (there were two total vamps Day 1) may have taken it upon themselves to save their cohort especially if it were the LV. In the other case, if you are a vamp it makes perfect sense for you to save yourself. AND yes if you are a Villager, it makes sense to save yourself as well but not to wait so long to do it.

I've explained why I changed my vote, I'll not explain again.
LMAO Zsand... bite me.

Oops.. make that JL
Oooooooh K, that worries me more than anything I've seen in this thread so far. I was not posting or even talking to you Kash, and you throw that out, out of the blue. Looks an awful lot like you trying to link me to you. IE. if you're a vamp and get staked, the Villagers come for me because this now looks like you slipped and posted part of a private conversation.
Odd choice of words. Odd to confuse me with ZS.
Indeed.
My suspect list for now includes Johnlarson (tops the list) followed by Zaffy, Zsand, and I don't know who else at this point. There are too many possibilities at the moment for me to narrow this down without going through everything all over again.

As for Coler, he's off my suspect list now. If Coler was a vampire he knows exactly who was innocent. He'd already established his suspicion for both me and DD and he's savvy enough as a player to vote either one of us without getting nailed himself the following night for staking an innocent by mistake.

In Zaffy's case, we're left to decide if he switched to save himself (as he claimed) or if this means he's a vampire. I've done a last-minute vote/change to save myself only one time before....... but I was on the mafia side that game and that's why I did it. Every other time I've been in the lead or tied for lynching I've accepted my game was done.

Had I been one of 2 vampires tonight... sure, I would've switched my vote as a last resort and taken Zaffy out instead. Then just come up with some excuse and deal with the repercussions. With only 2 vamps the first night they can't afford the loss yet.

When you're not on the scum side it doesn't matter. There's nothing to hide. Even a dead innocent leaves behind clues the others can use to track down scum. If that doesn't clear me in some way for some of you there's not much else that would.
When did I creep into your suspect list again Kash? I know you threw that early vote on me on Day 1 but surely that isn't still your reason for including me. Your play is beginning to make me very nervous.

In summary, I now like Kash for a LV candidate and Zaffy as her Day 1 pick. I still like someone like Rocker as a possible Day 2 pick, low key, off the radar. If others believe Kash is LV it makes the most sense to vote for her, if they think Zaffy then we should vote that way. Taking out turned vamps is great but we need to lop the beast's head off at the neck. If the LV chose someone a bit more vocal as a turn I could see Coler or JL as a choice. Regardless we need to get one before they start turning our PRs.

I agree with the call on Phoenix. With the revealing of the role it's impossible to bring them back. Hopefully you will play again, Phoenix.

I understand why people question the single voters but I wasn't sold on any of the 3 up for being staked. I still feel Noods is a major suspect because of her drastic change in play this game. It may be coincidence but it bothers me. Since no one else seems to see it I have moved on to Coler for now because his singleton vote was a hunch only. For now he seems to be the best candidate for a vote IMO. I would also be willing to vote for Noods again. Rich is also beginning to worry me but it seems his game play style almost always makes me suspicious of him.

This is not an easy game for the villagers to win. We need to find the LV quickly or this game will be over. I have only ever played on the vamps side in this game scenario up until now and I can see how tough it really is.

If I am the best candidate for a vote, dawg, what do you think of Zaffy's late switch ?

On what was your singleton 'vote' based ?

You are a Vampire. You are a force of darkness that delights in the stalk and the kill. Your fellow vampires are XXX, etc. You may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals. Each night, you will decide on a villager to stalk and kill/ try to turn. The game starts off with just 2 Vampires the Lead and 1 person of his choosing then the LV will choose a person to turn for the 1st 2 nights of which nothing can stop this choice except a lynching.

You are the Lead Vampire. You are the leader of this group of vampires. Your fellow vampires are XXX, etc. You may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals. Each day start, you will decide on a villager to stalk and kill. The 1st 2 nights are automatic turns nothing can stop this, except a lynching, from that point on it becomes a 50/50 chance at death or a turn(who now works for you and may not communicate this fact to anyone else). If you are killed the game ends and all the vampires you turned are returned to innocence. You will start out with YOU and 1 person of your choice at game start. IF you choose the HUNTER,SEER or PRIEST in the 1st 2 days they keep their roles but work for the Vampires.

The Lead Vampire will show as innocent the 1st 2 days/nights. He also has the ability to switch 1 time positions with someone on his team.

The LV needs to send in his choice for a turn at day start, if the Villagers lynch this person the LV loses a chance at a free Lesser vampire.

Hmmm just noticed this. Do we take that as a real slip from ICe, or a carefully planted ruse. WIFOM I know but worth a mention.

Sand, if "her" was used I'd take it as a slip. With "his" used you don't know. "his" is the usual word used when gender is unknown.

OR... does ICE usually say his/her in previous games?

Oh, and I vote to stake John L, reason given above.

Well I always say his/her if I know their sex, and they/them if I don't. But I don't recall how stringent Ice is to gender in-game. I don't want to derail us with something like this just another little piece of the puzzle to file away.

Zsand, since you're so worried now about me getting the names switched with you and John... go ahead and vote me for it.

I went to bed early because I was worn out.. didn't sleep well... and was up again in the middle of the night reading through this stuff again. Under the circumstances at the time, I think I did well enough expressing my thoughts. I meant to say JL but I typed Zsand instead. It was a typo.. nothing more.

The main reason you guys lynched me in the last game was because I did the same thing referring to Zigman when I obviously meant to say Rocker. Does that make me scum? No... I was an innocent PR in that game. A typo is just that. Any of you could surely come up with a better excuse to vote me if you really want.

I have a lot to do today, so I'll be back later.

jm, did you ever post who you think might be vampires? jm seems to be stiring things up one way and voting another.
to be honest, during day one i didnt have much idea. here we go though-

Zaffy- an obvious suspect because they decided to switch right at the end to save themselves. dont know if the LV would make them a vamp after that, since they're pretty much labeled and next to be lynched.

Kash- she's acting just as weird as last game, which ended up getting her lynched in a tie. the whole "Ice handpicked the roles" thing was just a bunch of complaining more than anything IMO. dont agree with it at all, and she really did seem to be pushing the issue.

JL- you're a suspect of mine, but you always are.

Ogre- same as above

where i put my vote though really depends on future events, but right now im not sold with Kash or even Zaffy, though leaning more towards Zaffy.
