I kind of feel from the starting player pool that there can't be more than four per team. We had 19 players at the start. Four per team leaves room for 8 Citizens and the Journalist, President, and Doctor. If there are five per team I feel we are pretty screwed with the number of Innocents we've lost early.
That would be important to know, wonder if Jpap meant to leave that out or just didn't consider it.
I like your math there though, it makes sense and I was guessing about 4 as well.
OK so assume there are four evils per team. We started with 19 players. Which means.
7 people dead.- so 12 people remain.
Mafia team A has 3 left
Mafia team B has 3 left
Just 6 innocents left.
That would put half the people left as scum. That's pretty scary. Unless mafia take out mafia- or try to hit the person the doc is protected we can't afford a bad lynch.

Ahhhh! Awesome. OK with that in mind I feel a little bit better and don't mind out-ting myself.

sorry to confuse everyone with the stinky head/smelly comments. It was just me being silly because I had nothing to go on.
As proof that I am the journalist- tomorrow's headline will read "Shrek, Panda, English Guy, Mainly Mbuna all innocent"
I've hit all innocents so far. Ogre, JohnL and MostlyCichlids.
If the above guess at how many Mafia are left is correct- that means, with us four being innocent and there only 12 left... out of the remaining 8 people 6 are guilty.
We have a 75% chance at getting one- even at random if we all vote together and not against each other.
I don't know who is guilty. I only know four of us who arn't. You're wasting votes voting for each other- and with town being 50% of who is left we have to lynch correctly.
Granted, I would like to request the doctor's protection from a hit tonight.
