2 questions JL:
1) Why is today you vs. me? Until YOU started the lynch Ogre movement, it was all about you. No one even considered me as a possible target until you (in danger of being lynched) suddenly had this bright idea to get me involved. The only reason I'm a target is because there has been some squibbling about me for a while. So why again, is today me vs you... it was all you before
2) Why should anyone who believes that both of us are mafia vote for me? Heck, I can answer that one, so the innocent votes will be split and you mafia guys can suddenly switch to me and knock me out, thereby winning the game.
A point that some of you may not have considered. The mafia know exactly how many of them there are. I'm wondering if Mad's little JMax thing was to make it look like the score was better than it actually is, thereby allowing us some breathing room... and hoping we make a mistake. Here's my whole theory, Ogre... IF DD is mafia, I really think that townies may have a little more breathing room (1 day maybe, but ONLY if DD is mafia)....I said before DD is NOT the Don. The Don was gone earlier in the game. At one point RB gives the count as 10 v 7 yet implies townies have 2 more days. Why? Because the Don is gone, has read as an innocent, and I really think the score was 11 v 6 at that point. One mafia was gone FOR SURE, and we never got a special character read the next night, so it had to be the Don.
This probably explains why the mafia never made the move to ZSandmann on Night 5...even with mee-mee voting for Z. I stayed up pretty late that night watching the voting, and never saw the movement in votes that I expected to see.
Most would agree that mee-mee could have killed us by voting for Z. Why didn't mafia make the move late that night and finish the job? Because I don't think they had the numbers (I now believe that the score was really 9 v 6 and not 8 v 7 as most townies thought)....Charlie was camping, JPappy (probably mafia) was also MIA....I think that on night 5, until Charlie voted very late, there were probably only a maximum of 4 mafia even voting....not enough to make the move to win the game. What else could the explanation be? Victory was apparently in their grasp.
On a separate note, I think we need to keep looking hard into rb's clues...something dawned on me today. I, for one, see some clues and say 'I don't think that RB would give us that much info on the mafia....' BUT, I think RB is playing both sides of the fence. He's also giving clues to the mafia. I would say the description for BKW as detective was pretty spot-on and maybe mee-mee as vigilante also (independent? - I'm a little less sure). I'm sure the mafia noticed the clues too. But they couldn't risk taking those hits and narrowing the snitch list....doing so would have exposed their members even further.
Just theories...take them or leave them.
