Rule clarification: non-elves = special role players, which includes Santa.

So...I believe that count is correct Dawg but I will get an "official" tally up as soon as I have more time. I'm thinking about an earlier than normal nightfall on Saturday...no sense in dragging this longer than needed. I would call it as soon as I get all votes in but I want to allow for any and all PM's to come in if needed since I'm sure most people have a hectic schedule (including me). Again, I will post a specific time...look for it tomorrow night, hopefully.

Here's what I propose. DD goes tonight. Both Santas investigate Z. If the results do not come back unanimous for good or evil then Z gets lynched. If both say Z is evil he gets lynched and if both say innocent he stays. Reason being is the real Santa won't be lying about the results. If one says evil and one says innocent we lynch and find out who's telling the truth. We have a 3 person lead so we can make a couple mistakes but not too many.

After JB's little flub with his choice for investigation I put him now at a 75% chance of being evil.

Good point, I missed this the other day. JB, let's say you are Santa. I'm honestly a bit at a loss because I believed that you were as I have suspected TRS all game. (Look how that turned out for Noods :( ) If you are Santa, you already KNOW TRS is an Evil Elf because why would another Innocent roleclaim you? So your Invest is totally wasted on TRS because it only proves to yourself what you would already know.

Ok well this is a post that makes sense. Except for the part that you agree we shouldn't vote for a roleclaimed yet you are still voting for TRS. Would you care to explain that?

I can still see JB being innocent but he's not fully proving himself to me as of yet. I'd like to see his comments on why he thought investigating TRS makes any sense. I'd also like to see him investigate you this nightfall. If you are innocent Z then the invests will prove that. If you are innocent the invests will either both come back innocent or one innocent and one evil. If the Santas disagree then we will need to lynch you in order to see who'd lying.

Yeah at the time I was convinced TRS was Evil and the liar of the two and I figured hey let's take out an Evil and be done with it. But if we kill Santa its game over no matter how many Innocents we have left. So I've changed my vote as I am less sure of JB after some of his recent posts.

If you are Santa, you already KNOW TRS is Evil, he Roleclaimed your role. So there is no point in Investigating him.

Vote how you will townies. But at this point I firmly believe in DD's innocence and TRS's guilt. I have suspicions about Dawg and Z and Razz, as well as every one else who's role isn't known for certain. But it seems we'll have to wait a while to find anything out for certain. I urge everyone to take this time to go back through the thread and decide for yourself.

I will personally say I don't like lynching DD, but we can't lynch you or TRS right now as much as I'd like to. In a situation like this where you have a President role (Santa) lynching an Innocent to survive another day is acceptable.

The Evils no longer have Hits, so all we can do is shoot ourselves in the foot with poorly placed Lynches.
 
I'll say it again for the cheap seats... the reason I'm still investigating TRS is that I want to know specifically if he's communicating or not. If he's not communicating, then I know there's no point in using his posts to find his teammates. If, on the other hand, my suspicions are confirmed and he is a communicator, then his previous posting/voting scheme may give clues as to his partners.

It's the best way I can come up with to gain any real foothold on locating the baddies. Basically, it's the best I can think of to HELP THE TOWN. That is what we're here to do. At least what I'm here to do. When those results come back as expected I'll have more to go on to find suspects. I'll make the best case I can, you all can take it for what it's worth.

All of these suggestions of "investigate me" or "investigate her" are a waste of time and a distraction. As long as there are communicating evils out there, we cannot trust anyone claiming to communicate outside the thread. We have the numbers and all the innocents can communicate inside the thread.
 
No actually JB your plan of investigation does no good for the town and proves nothing. This is because no one will follow your suggestions if we can't trust you. The only way you gan gain our trust is by proving to us who you are by using your investigations on the same person as TRS. Right now I believe the town is in agreement on investigating Z. Heck, even Z agrees he should be investigated. Hopefully Jack will follow through on the nip on TRS. It's all over but the waiting now. Unfortunately for us JB is unwilling to follow the town's wishes which proves a lot to me about who he really is.
