I find this whole cop issue to be rather confusing, what's the issue with the real cop just shooting the fake right now and being done with it? Won't that give us the lead 6-7. Am I missing something here. What happens if FF is innocent? then we lynch a townie because JL says so?

Okay, I've been thinking a lot about this. And I'm going to go back and pull some posts in a little bit, but here are some things that are bothering me.

I guess the short of what I'm trying to say is that the job (of a townie anyway) is still to find scum. It seems like you're trying to change that goal to lynching FF1.

In addition to this, I feel like I'm being pressured into voting FF. If I don't, it seems like the whole town will take that as an "anti-town" move. That whole feeling of being pressured is scummy to me. Like I said before, I wouldn't have had a problem with "don't vote for me, I'm the cop"; but "lynch FF 'cause I'm the cop" just seems... off.

Exactly. When JL RC'ed, I couldnt wait to hang him for it. If I didnt step up, he rules the town. Last thing we need is JL ruling the town right now, trust me.

I dont think JL is necessarily in comm with his boss, just he did what he meant to do....find me....

I was thinking about the santa game, when I fake RC'd as santa. The reason I was so easily spotted was because I didn't go after TRS (the real santa) right away, and I made an argument to keep him around. Seems like the same thing might be going on here. Annie going right after JL falls in line with a real reaction IMO.

I am not trying to lynch FF1, I am trying not to lynch the mayor. The only reason I am okay with lynching FF1 is because I am sure they are not the mayor.

I also don't think the mayor would have looked into FF1 as a possible policemen.

I think lynching FF1 is the safest way to avoid lynching the mayor and/or a communicating innocent.

I'm gong to be in class all day tomorrow, so I figured I'd get this out of the way tonight. I didn't pull every post as I normally do, but I pulled quite a few that raised an eyebrow...

So in this format it is most likely that the bosses are low posters and not be in the spotlight?

So knowing that, a boss would be safer to be in the spotlight? Plus if you are a player that normally plays in the spot light, if you step out of the spotlight, you are suspect.

Also past roles and past game play has NOTHING to do with the current game.

I have every newbie leaning non-boss. I also have the a players who have historically been generally unhelpful (ie, lack of effort/lurking, little original thought, etc.) to the town, even when they've been town-aligned leaning non-boss. My top players meeting this critera (no offense) would be TRS, rich and jb. Anyone want to guess that mad just copies my list?

So here is my adjusted suspect list (in the order from the first page):

That trims it up to 10 pretty quickly.

But... wait a sec, JL... didn't you just say "Also past roles and past game play has NOTHING to do with the current game." It seems as though your whole list has been compiled by... dear god... past game play! And even taking Ice into account. You can't have it both ways, bud. Either past games have nothing to do with it, or newbs can be bosses...

Based on nothing but playing this game with Ice modding I would tweak my list of 10 down to 6 of suspects to be bosses:

I am iffy on Rb, but I know he likes the 50/50 format and sometimes gets into the games other times he is more of a spectator.

I see your point Lab. It is a risk to both teams, neither team wants their boss to die, it would mean game over.

Until the teams are able to communicate it will be hard to determine anyones status. While I strongly believe that the mafia don is one of the players I listed, I also strongly believe that the mayor is one of the players I listed.

I am guessing that the innocent/mafia roles were random and then Ice tweaked the bosses and hitman/policeman roles.

So with that in mind, I think I will pay special attnetion to the players I lised, but it is not in best interest to lynch of them on day one. Those players actions will determine how I vote.

I am still unwilling to vote a newbie on day one. I also think that Mad's idea about going after players that are generally not involved with the game (very rough interpation) makes sense on day one.

As soon as day two starts though, look out!

I have time to waste, but I do appreciate your honesty. I do think Ice would have a problem with assigning (or picking) Agi to be a boss. I do think Zaffy and JB are good additions.

A little while ago, I was on the unhelpful list... top 3 too, pretty spiffy!... now I'm a good addition to be a hand-picked boss by Ice?

So much for my vote on TRS.

I retract my vote on TRS and vote to lynch Razzlefish.

Razz has not had much input and I don't think he is the mayor.

I think I have switched more than FF1!

TRS come up innocent, and JL jumps right on to Razz. A player he hadn't even mentioned before. Without much info other than "I don't think he's the mayor."

If anyone can plead a case that FF1 could be the mayor, then feel free to place a vote for someone else.

All I can ask that everyone votes for FF1, let the mayor find me and then let the power of the mayors investigations find the rest. If the mayor does not find a mafia, we will have another communicating team member.

Wow, JL. Here's an example of the pressure I was talking about. At this point, you should know (if you are indeed the cop) that Annie is scum. I don't know if I can say it again... maybe louder... THIS MAKES NO SENSE JL. If you know Annie is scum, why are you not willing to vote for him? You don't know FF's role... or do you... how can you be so sure he's not the mayor?

Okay, lets talk this through. You say I am a mafia goon and I came out to get you to come out. If I have duped the mayor, the town will know real real quick, if I don't have a target to hit right after the mayor talks to me, then that can only mean that the mayor has found two other innocents prior, that will be 4 known innocents, which could all go public as long as known of them claimed to be the mayor.

So if I don't hit someone ASAP and I don't have three other players vouching for me, then by all means lynch me.

I am asking to lynch FF1 today (who we can all agree is not the mayor) and asking the mayor to investigate me - if this is a trick - it is only good for one day and the town can lynch me the following day.

There is no way the mayor looking into me is a bad thing. Either I am who I say I am or dead the following night.

Again with this...for someone who "doesn't wan to lynch FF", you sure do say this alot.
It is a bad thing if it wastes time for the town, and kills off a potential innocent (FF).

Because once the mayor and I can communicate, I have two hits that I can use. Even during the day time. Until the mayor finds me, I can't hit anyone.

I am 100% against lynching annie. Once I am confirmed by my actions as to who I am, the rest of the town will know what annie is. Of course I am 100% against lynching me also.

What is your reason for not wanting to lynch FF1? As long as they are not the mayor, me coming out can only help the town. Even if I am lying, there will be only one player dead, there are no mafia hits. So if I am lying then lynch me then. I will be able to prove my innocents with a quick hit. I will state who I am going to hit and then place the hit. If the mayor has no names to give me, then I will hit annie, but I will announce that also.

Again, JL. You ARE trying to lynch FF1. You have said so clearly several times. You CANNOT be SURE he is not the mayor unless you are the mayor or the don and have investigated him.
WOW! You apparently KNOW that Annie is scum, yet you still choose to sacrifice a player who's role is unknown (at least to the rest of us).


After going through this little exercise, I'm 99% convinced JL is scum. My radar was right on night 1 with Rich, and I think it is again. I vote to lynch JL.

Surprised more of the mafia hasn't come out and made the claim also...the loss of their hitman hurts them and with possibly only two of them communicating right now, they need all the distraction they can muster.

As much as I would like to vote out FF for being a PITA distraction...it is likely my vote will land on Annie or JL. Anybody have thoughts that Annie and JL could now be communicating mafia? Just tossing that thought out there....risky chance if the town pulls together and lynches one of them.

Well the mob lost there second best today so we have a major edge on them. WOOT WOOT. I voted for the guy second so I hope that I no longer seen suspicious but then this may make them think it was just to survive… o well life moves on and the townie are gonna win!
