Mafia #70: The Time Vortex

You may be onto something there JB. I do need to look through your posts though, I'll have to do that tomorrow since I'm falling asleep at the keyboard. But Kash could be fooling us all. I really didn't like her recent posts with her confusion about the gunslinger game. She seems to have a pretty awesome memory, so her confusion doesn't sit well with me.

Maybe Charlie got stuck on HN too?
I really don't know what to think of Charlie. Having never played with him before. I haven't gotten a scummy sense from him, but with all the turns and counter-turns; it's hard to really read anything.

I know Kash is scum though. I will not back down no this. If the GS takes the shot, it'll be public.

I think you're kinda scummy (you did send me duckweed after all... no problem there btw!) , but you make a good argument. I'm still not comfortable with you thinking HN would UD on night one, I think there's possibility that you were hoping someone else would make a play on that.
You can think I'm kinda scummy if you want. I laid low early in the game
'cause to be honest I had nothing of much real content to add. And sorry about the duckweed... it is what it is...). I've never played with HN before, and I wanted to make the comment public that he might UD to see what happened. I'm not sure that I was convinced it would happen as you all seem to believe, but I was putting the idea out there. I can also say that you seem "kinda scummy" for putting out the cryptic "I saw something but don't want to out anything...". If you really feel you sit in a seat to judge, then so be it. That does not make me wrong.

There's a way the hypothesis can be tested. GS, shoot Kash. I am right about this. My gut told me to look, and the more I looked, the more I saw to lead me to think she is scum.

I take a nap and suddenly from out of nowhere we have a player called JB.

By your own admission you were "laying low" early on. From my understanding. Isn't that looked at as scummy?

I know you said you didn't have anything to add. Early in the game no one has anything to add, all we have is questions and by asking our questions in the game we help the town to hopefully learn who is scum.

The last time we had someone come out swinging with "I know 100% that so and so is scum" we lost 2 innocents.

One of the points made to help lynch LG was she defended ZS. Then we lynched ZS. So that makes 2 innocents lynched because 1 person said "I know" and backed it up with "I am right on this"

What is the matter JB? I wasn't around for the gunslinger game but I guess what I am reading in the game must be true about being active because as soon as this day came into play all of a sudden you started trying to look pro town.

A sudden shift in game play like this from someone I hadn't looked at because they were playing like they always do sends warning signs.

Thanks Zaffy, I forgot about this but JB did state that the votes on HN were useless because he would probably UD. (or something like that I don't recall exactly)

I don't think it's really all the sudden, Wiz; though I see the point you're making. I'm not trying to "look" one way or another. I'm just playing the best game I can. I realize that the town trusted Ogre on Z, and an innocent was lynched. I did not believe Ogre. I mentioned it when he said it, and I didn't vote with him. Like I told Zaffy, you can look at me any way you want. All I can hope is that the GS makes a good decision and goes with this one.

You should go back and read again. I simply asked a question, Wiz. I didn't state anything, let alone that the votes on HN were useless. This seems like word twisting to me. Trying to defend Kash by getting people to look at me?

All I can ask from the GS is this: give the the benefit of the doubt. Go and look through kash's posts for yourself with a skeptical eye. Don't believe anything anyone says, look for yourself. I'm right. 100%.

Wiz, you say two conflicting things here in the two bolded statements. Either I was barely in the game, or I've been playing like I always do. Care to pick one?

No conflicting statements JB. As you highlighted in the first part of my post, I had just woken up from a nap so I may not have worded it plainly enough.

I was referring to the fact that your play up to this point is what I was used to from you.

You don't post much or often.

Now you seem like you are on a mission to kill Kashta which is quite the turn around.

Again with the 100% sounds an awful lot like Ogre.

You will forgive me if I seem skeptical but, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Nope, I'm glad you're skeptical, Wiz. I want people to be skeptical. But the true skeptic investigates. Go look through Kash's posts for yourself and see what you think. And yes, I am 100% sure so I am sort of "on a mission". I realize Ogre was wrong. I also didn't follow him because there was something off about his claim. I realize that also puts my claim somewhat in jeopardy. But it does not make me wrong.

Again, I urge the GS to look for yourself and shoot by your gut; not town concensus and bs. I learned a LOT from the original GS game. This was the biggest lesson. There is no chance I'm wrong about Kash. I've had you leaning innocent, Wiz. Go back and take a look. Part of my style is also to come out swinging when I find something I like. Kash as evil, I like. I'll give you my puffer set up if I'm wrong.
