Do you really think that the slayer would risk going off on their lonesome again after the whoops they did last night?

My whole point, Dag is that we just don't know. I'm willing to bet that they would go with a 100% shot. I'm less confident if they would trust our guess as opposed to their own.

I get what you are saying now. I did not understand/absorb that part about the slayer possibly being bitten before they got the chance to stake. I agree then the town lynch/stake Wiz tonite and come to a consenscus on a good stake candidate for the slayer to hit. I will leave my vote on Wiz in that case. In regards to who I think is a good possiblilty for the second (hopefully last) vamp, my guess is FF, LG or Chill, in that order. Anyone else have a top suspect list?

If you guys want to stick with voting Wiz; I'm in, but it gives me more anxiety than trusting him to the slayer.

perhaps we should all state who we think the slayer should hit and see what the top suspect comes out to. We know we cannot trust/listen to Wiz and there is most likely only one vamp besides him so we should be able to come to some kind of agreement.

I agree that leaving the slayers stake up to hunch or whatever is pretty risky. I would hate to see the priest taken out in error. Wiz is a sure thing. Then again, if the vamps get lucky and bite the slayer, his/her stake may not go through, then we lose the chance to take out a proven vamp....:nilly:

What if it's Chill? What if he gives into his lingering doubts about you, Dag and decides to play that hunch? Not even the priest can protect you from that.

What do you mean the priest cannot protect Dag? From a bite? The rules do nto really say if the priest can protect PR's or not.....did I miss it?

I'm saying that the priest cannot protect Dag from a stake. Worst case scenario-wise, if the slayer were to still have doubts about Dag and give into that; he would have no protection at all.

I think it is pretty obvious that Dag has been truthful in his RC so I would seriously hope that the slayer would not risk that. By leaving the slayer to stake Wiz, there is the chance that the vamps could bite the slayer and kill him/her before he has a chance to get him. If we use the town stake to take out Wiz it is a sure thing that he will be killed and leave the slayers stake to take out the next top suspect. I could definitely see LG as the top suspect.
JB, what is your read on FF at this time?

Another thought... what if FF is the slayer? Same question goes for anyone we pick. Obviously, that person then has no choice but to either use the stake on a hunch; or wait to use it. Both of which I think are bad ideas.

I hate to sounds like a negative nelly, but from work I've been trained to look at worst-case scenarios vs. maximum utility.
