Mafia 78- The Gunslinger Returns...The Play

My thought on who is scummy... LG (didn't help, skimming), Ice(moot discution, overly helpful), Haydn24(pointing our helpfulness.

You name LG, Ice, Haydn because of actual reasons. Kinda weak but it was D1.

I'd shoot Ice, cause he's being too helpful and at the same time posting about who he would have chosen as slinger (aka, not wiz) so he can't be evil. Also, if he turns out to be innocent, i would die and a great player would become the slinger.

More on Ice. You start on the whole vet getting the gun thing.

*sigh* If ice turned evil? I would shoot Jspigs(for backpedaling and other scummy stuff) then Kash, Rich, or Chill(their all vet, at worst, i die and a vet gets the gun. At best, i kill an evil vet who would otherwise be good at hiding.

Add Js plus another list based on vets.

As for who i would shoot next.. .any vet will do. Best case, i hit scum and they lose a great player. Worst case, i hit an innocent and we get a great gunslinger. Its almost win-win, cept i would die. More specifically, i would hit Pappy. If he turned evil, Kashta would go next. If he turned innocent, he would have the gun and i would reccomend shooting LG, for suspecting him by the way he posted. No matter what though, i would try and keep the gun in the hands of vets more then noobs.

The only person you mention for a specific reason is LG because she suspects me or whatever. And she isn't even the top of the list.

Do you actually have a suspect list?

More importantly, you do know we are going after mafia, right? This isn't just a game of passing around the gun to whatever innocent you think would make the right shot.

The only consistency in your lists are people based on the fact that they are vets. You've dropped Js and Haydn, two people you suspected for somewhat legitimate reasons, aren't even in the top three for people you would shoot anymore. Haydn hasn't been mentioned for a few days now...

It's ridiculous that you think you can criticize my suspect lists when yours don't even fit the title...

This post was kind of a mess...I'm going to try to break it up and respond to the stuff directed at me...



It worries me that you would shoot me over any suspects you may have...do you even have suspects?



That is not what I was saying. Earlier I said that I thought Ice and LG may be distancing and Dag disagreed with that stating it was too far for distancing. My point was that there isn't anything that cannot be thought of as distancing in a game where you only need to convince one person, the slinger.

In that post I was trying to say that even though Ice and LG weren't actually distancing since Ice is an innocent that in the future we shouldn't discount anything that may be distancing.



FF, I'm pretty had explained why I had all those suspects at some point or another. Most were still from a previous list.

And if you're going to go after me based on my list then maybe you should post one of your own. You've mentioned one suspect as of late in Jspigs and everything else is based off of someone being a vet and that's it...

Sure, except that Ice was like 90% of the town's choice to shoot until Kash came up with her case against Chill. Why would I want to change that? Why not keep the suspicion there?

BECAUSE THAT WASN'T THE POINT OF THE RESPONSE. Please get that in your head. I was responding to the fact that people couldn't trust me and laid out the scenarios for that. It made no sense to me to just say "I'm innocent" since that wasn't going to convince anyone of anything.

And I honestly don't care what you would have done. You are NOT the one in the position to have done anything regarding an investigation so saying that you would have done whatever really means squat.

Also, it makes a whole lot of sense for you to be questioning my list when yours basically boils down to just shooting whoever has played the game a lot

Well, if Ice is innocent (can't trust anyone in these games) then why would any mafia guy want to have Ice as the slinger? He kicks *** at this game, if i was mafia i would do everything i could short of revealing myaself to keep the gun out of his hands. As an innocnet townie i wish he had the gun, though.

At that point last night(it's not after 1am here), I was exhausted(I'll explain in a sec) but still pushing myself to try. I was being too lazy to repost what I had said before. I've now had some sleep and been woken up. (Thanks dogs!) Came in to tell my husband that Starcraft2 will still be here in the morning and popped on to see what's new.

So anyways, about the exhaustion. I recently found out I'm pregnant :grinyes: so that's why my mind has been elsewhere this game. We had a long day of errands yesterday so I was beat. If anyone wants to think that I am lying about that then :nutkick: to you.

Hey everyone, sorry I'm trying to get caught up and will post as I read. I had a family emergency last night and had to take my Mom to the hospital so i was there most the evening with her. She is fine, but my step-dad had a heart attack.

I hope your step-dad recovers nicely and that your Mom is able to stay well through the ordeal. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Holstering his gun he picks up a piece of chaulk. His first stroke on the board makes a loud screech.

Today's homework town is to tell the gunslinger who you would shoot next and then follow that to it's logical conclusions: if that person should roll innocent, and if that person should roll guilty. So three names who you would shoot next, then who you would shoot if the first person is innocent, and who you would shoot if the first person is guilty. Kash I'd like your opinion as well. It's not a foregone conclusion that I will shoot you, there are a couple of considerations that I'm still weighing that might save you.

2. Ice - Named Innocent by Jpap (unconfirmed but likely)
3. Jpap - Got Invest d1 - may be scum
4. Haydn - noob - some posts not a whole lot of original insight
5. Chill - Gunslinger d2
6. Tay - semi noob - admits to playing scum well
7. Rich - moments of scum - "give weatherwoman the gun"
8. JB - undecided about, quality and quantity of input is high
9. Salt - noob - nothing other then i'll post later
10. Pir -semi noob - just about no posts
11. Kash - laid out strong case for chill d1, was wrong either scum or mistake
12. Wiz - Gunslinger d1 - dead shot at Chill
13. Dag - sexy man, the kind all you guys wish you could be and the one ladies dream of
14. LG - Has set off scum sensors most of game, don't think same side as Ice
15. Jspigs - noob but giving off scummy vibe almost whole game, will agree with anything

If I had to take the shot today I would point the gun at Lady G and pull the trigger till it goes click click click. I really don't think it was just "distancing" between her and Ice and she has given off a scummy vibe all game.

If she is scum hooray! The next shot would depend on if there is an investigation but for this lets say there isn't. Next shot would most likely be either Kashta or Jspigs.

If Lady G is innocent and gets shot my next shot would be for Rich. His idea of shooting Lady G with the conclusion of well if she's innocent I trust her to shoot well, really just does not sit with me.

I honestly think that it would be smarter to hit the vets b4 the noobs, unless they do something really scummy. The vets will know how to use the gun if they get it, the noobs not so much. If you don't like it, oh well.

Well, when reading this i had a FF revalation (there pretty rare). A mafia member would say "Ice is innocent" because that would keep the gun out of his hands. Thats if its true of course.

Ok, I cut out part of FF's long post so I could address the parts I wanted without it being confusing and long.
First you seem to be pretty gung ho about going after only vets. Why do you think the noobs wouldn't be able to handle the gun, if the vets are still here...wouldn't they be able to help them along through posts? It's looking more and more to me, that you are very worried about having the vets in the game.

Actually the second part does make some sense to me. If we all believe/know Ice is innocent, he will never have the gun. Although, me being me this makes my mind go in a whole new direction.......if Pap, Ice and FF all are mafia this would be a great way to keep Ice in.

Well, done my revisions.

On top, i would have JS, because now that i've re-read his posts, he does sound like he's getting advice, but seems to be to eager to wait for the advice, posting stuff and then being told that he shouldn't have posted it. He then goes and trys to fix it. Thats the reason JS is on the list.

Next, i have Kashta, for being against Chill so much just before wiz took his shot, effectivly killing wiz and getting chill to be slinger. She went against a confirmed inno0cent, and made most of the case that got Chill shot in the first place.

Last i have Rich, for his comments on LG and how he started to "rethink" it when people took notice. Also, im just gettin an evilvibe from him.

Thats my list now, and ima stick with it to the end.

So after looking at how many times FF has brought up the whole leave the noobs in thing, it has made me wonder...it is looking that our Mafia could be made up of more noobs then vets. FF has posted this several times, Pir was "protecting" JS, JS has looked scummy most all game. Salt well, I don't even know that I want to include him as a player cause well he hasn't been. Which really means nothing as far as mafia/innocent goes, but he did pretty much the same thing in the end of last game as far as not posting.

I am thinking if I were the slinger, my thought of who to shot may change with these new things coming up. I may actually shoot FF.
