After much review, and the interactions on the thread last night, I studied the vote counts before starting this post.
The bickering between Bally and Hay has been going on continually. But, and this is the interesting part, Hay's final vote has never been on Bally.
Hay's votes on the final counts were, FF, UN, and Razz. Why is that?
Hay gave answers to why he never changed his vote to Bally as much as he says he wanted to. However, his reasoning seemed to change as time went on.
He stated that when he wasn't in danger of dieing he couldn't have known that the other votes wouldn't have fallen on him. That is a weak excuse to NOT vote your top suspect. As I pointed out, he had no reason to know that those who had yet to vote would vote as they did. Or that UN would switch his vote. He still had time to change his vote if he needed to to save himself. Others had suspect Bally off and on through out the game.
What the scum really need and their goal all along was to turn a GH or two. According to the rules, they would then have someone that could communicate in both boards, but would be working for the scum.
With the murderer alive, the hit is 50/50 turn/kill. With the murderer gone the hit is 50/50 kill/nothing. It isn't as big a loss to lose someone that was turned as it is to lose the murderer.
It was safe for Bally to leave her vot on Hay on D1 as FF had posted in such a way that it didn't take much for him to get pushed over the edge. Noods says NP called FF out to get him lynched, Bally used the fact that JB posted the weather map to cover her backside on voting him. However, her story changed a couple of times and the final excuse was that UN said that JB was not a GH.
When the heat came down, she disappeared for a while. Then came back on to state that she was doing more harm than good to the town. Waaaah! and BOO Hoo it worked. Her statements got many of us to look in other directions for awhile.
Then she comes back on and bickers with hay again. Bally IMO is very important to the scum team. Without her, all they can do is hopefully kill a gh instead of the chance to get them working for her.
Yes, as I see it, Bally is the murderer.
I vote to take the soul of Bally.
He bickers with me to hide that he can't form a case against someone else. It's easy for him to argue with me the whole game and then cast his vote on someone else closer to nightfall. He's dodging having to explain why he votes for someone.
