Mafia 94: When Gingers Attack; the play

there's not much to really comment on with all the talk about posts (i know scum had something to do with tthat). i'm pretty suspicous of pirhana right now, but hopefully tomorrow will reveal more.

Which one of the people talking about posts is the scumbag?

Long, yucky day. As I go through the thread now I'll multiquote whatever stands out the most. Then those I remember why I clicked them, I'll post and comment about.

Incidentally, I seriously doubt I'll be back after this before nightfall. So I'll have to place a vote somewhere too.

Welcome to the game, Kash. Just out of curiosity, do you live on the west coast? I hate having to work late myself as it does bite into my already limited "west and welaxation" time. I expect things to worsen when my kids start school next week with their homework and extracurricular activities.

Thanks, Plant. Yes, we live on the west coast. David and I live in Las Vegas. (David is Wizard in case you haven't made that connection between us yet.)

A couple of things stick out to me and I will sift through it later but, AAF reminds me of an early FF with the constant posting( makes it difficult for those who can't get on during the day and come home to so many pages of random posts to read).

Labby seems to have come out swinging. Makes me think of a boxer in a prize fight. All business right from the start. Could bear watching.

Side note: Not all girls have cooties, I invented a special spray that I treated Kashta with and I haven't discovered cooties on her yet. And I have the patent on the spray and will sell it to my friends at AC ville for half price. Just 99 dollars down and (( dollars a month for the rest of your life. :thm:

Wizard, you mentioned that a couple of things stuck out for you. In the same post you mentioned AAF and Labby. Not sure if you've gone back through again or not yet for whatever it was that needed "sifting." Was there anything more you had in mind at the time that you haven't posted about yet?

BTW.......Totally ignoring that last paragraph. :silly:

I disagree here. If there is at least one vet on the scum team, they would know better than to overplay and they could easily keep a noob in line. While I agree 24 hours is almost always better for the scum, I'm not so sure that 48 hours wouldn't be the same... Just my opinion.

DD's coment was a throw back to this past game when Lab called her out for "picking on a noob" DD turned out to be scum while AAF was innocent. That was why I put the LOL smiley. What I found odd was that I saw it as so obviously a joke, and Lab missed it... Not like Labby IMO.

Don't mind at all that you disagree. I would rather see a more convincing basis for your position, though.

Speaking from experience I can tell you.... I have been the most experienced vet on a team before with mostly new players as teammates. Much as I've tried, it's just not possible for vets to "easily keep a noob in line." Not at all.

Examples: Much as I tried, I could not prevent FF from getting himself lynched over the attention he drew upon himself. I was also unable to prevent Haydn from posting a fake role claim. In both cases, the damage was already done (posted in the game thread) before anyone could stop them.

In the end, each person really does play their own game even when provided buckets full of terrific advice. ;)

/go/ Just letting everyone know I'm not going to be around much today. My Mom called and is totally freaking out, someone was in her house last night, and the cops are giving her the run around, I have to go over there...will try to get on her computer, but can't promise anything I most likely wont be back till late./go/

My thoughts are with you Lady G. Hope your Mom can feel safe and secure again soon after something like that happened!

Just note taking error. Since not using my laptop, I'm literally taking notes with pen and paper. Thanks for pointing out my error, makes me feel like you are paying attention. However if I had a teammate that hadn't posted, I'd definitely not mention others who haven't posted, thereby drawing attention to the nonposters. Do you have a problem with me asking ppl to post more?

More later if I manage to get another break at work.

Interesting the way you flipped that around. Seems a tad more confrontational or passive-aggressive than I remember of your game style.

Maybe it's because I'm tired, but I can't quite follow the thought pattern here.

According to my notes, unless I just missed it somehow, 2H hasn't posted. Can't recall if they were all that active in the other games. Anyone? Hope to hear from him and more from others throughout the day. Remember, the innocents only allow the evils to hide among them when they are so laxed. More posting (non "fluff" posts) equals more discussions and info we have to go on.

IME, there are 3-4 gingers. 4 might be high as they have 1 50/50 chance to gain one. Another reason to post our thoughts so that if they are successful in turning one of us we might can tell by a change in attitude towards others, posting style, etc.

I disagree. I think it's easier for scum to hide when there is lots of commotion going on. If there is a little slip up by scum while there is a lot going on, it's dismissed easier because of all the other little slip-ups by everyone else. The fact that you want more commotion seems scummy to me.

Chill used the G word! Must be scum!

Good luck with everything, I know that can be pretty hectic.

Maybe it would help, Pir, if you could explain what you meant by commotion? I couldn't find where Plant actually said she wants more commotion and wonder if you use this word differently than others here.

I read the post above from her and thought it sounds well-meaning but it's kinda generic stuff.
