Mafia Game #4 The Play

Also, I have observed DangerDoll and bkw1982 both watching this thread today, but neither has posted at all yet.

just observing, I'd like to see where this game heads this round and see what eveyone's idedas are. The I will ascertain for myself who I think has the nerve to try to take this town again..... taking over which, by the way, will never happen.

I'm headed over to have tea with double gfish. Sad to see the gal leave town. (How long is your camping trip going to be? Maybe you could just be on vacation instead of meeting an untimely demise? That's up to Rbishop I suppose)

No distraction or flustering at all, although I do have that effect on people. Come join us for tea. It will soothe you mind.

I also want to point out that I do not like the "role playing" and I think it takes away from the game. Maybe I am a "stick in the mud".

Ok JL, I can totally see your point. But here's the thing - you don't know anything about me, and I don't know anything about you. I'll tell you I'm innocent, you'll tell me I'm innocent. Now where does that put us? We add in bits of background, because at this point, if you didn't - what exactly would you have to talk about? You'd be making assumptions, then someone would make an assumption about your assumption. To be honest, I felt in game three that getting away from the storylines made it much more personal and took the game element out of it. That just goes to show that you have your viewpoint, and I have mine. I don't tell people how to play or how not to play, and I don't judge them for what they choose to post, as long as they choose to post.

we have herbal teas, rhuibu(i cant spell that)tea, black tea, green tea ,coffe and many other delightfull drinks!
i am going for a week and a bit so i think i will have to leave the game.:(

I also want to point out that I do not like the "role playing" and I think it takes away from the game. Maybe I am a "stick in the mud". The reason I voted to lynch ZSandmann was they were the first to "role play". The town has yet to lynch a mafia on the first night, even though we have a 1 in 3 chance of doing it.

I still don't understand this. This IS a roleplaying game. I don't understand how we could tell who was "Mafia" if we all acted like our normal selves. Well actually none of us ARE Mafia, I hope, so that is a completely null point. I'm not upset you nominated me, as that is part of the game. But, if I'm lynched the score will be 4 and 4 on lynching innocents the first night. Just sayin'.

Instead of labeling it role playing, why don't you look at it for what it really is, character development. Every well-written work of fiction has excellent character development. How else can you get to know the characters and what to expect from them and who they may or may not actually be. It's simply the facts about the characters.

A guessing game of who is watching the thread and hasn't posted yet is the most boring idea I've ever heard. It is total speculation and has no evidentiary proof. LAMO!:silly:

And probably the second night. *lol* I don't think mafia's been pegged night 1 or 2. Usually because jumpy people, and the mafia packing on behind a bandwagon (like DP.)

I know that Ogre likes to chart this as a logic problem. I would really like to learn how to do this, because I used to do logic problems. (My algebra teacher made me.) The problem here is that logic problems are usually based on yes or no. Once you have an answer, you can mark it and help rule out the next item. But for most of the time period of this game, you only have what people tell you is fact. That would be a lot of "nos" on the page. *lol* So it's definitely more tricky than a logic problem. However, at night, you do get an opportunity to find the fact in the fiction.
