18 hrs into Day #2....Night fall will be about 5 AM EST, Monday morning.
Sorry for the short day, just trying to get it back on track from my trip home yesterday and get the game in line with my work schedule. Thanks for being flexible!

RB - you are doing an awesome job - thanks for monitoring this maze!

And Maze it is. Max has put forth some very good points, and I must admit, his summations are very good reading. However, there is something niggling at the back of my mind that he is trying to direct everyone - either a Mayor type thing, or a Don type thing. Which one is my dilemma.

Despite postings from CL and Sandy, my feelings on them haven't changed much.

Mee-Mee, your indecision certainly doesn't look too good. It seems you are hopping from one foot to the other. Could you perhaps be a mafia "sheep dog" trying to protect your flock by throwing out random accusations when the townies get too close?

For now (and bear in mind it is obscenely early on a Sunday morning), my picks are as follows:

1. CL
2. ZSandman
3. Mee-Mee

I'll be traveling again today... going home. Since I might be totally dead tired when I get there and no way will I be up for the deadline...

I vote to lynch mee-mee

I very much like Mad's reasoning... it is in-line with what I had been looking at... he just said it better than I did.

I would like to point out that Mad is still on my potential mafia list. Like I said earlier, it doesn't matter if he's mafia or not, that good reasoning only helps the town. I am moving him up a notch on the the mafia scale toward innocent.

I would like everyone to keep in mind that CL and mee-mee may be mafia and the whole thing is being orchestrated.

The amount of time available for Mad's extended post is good for both indepth searching AND discussing things in another forum that only certain players have access to.

I must be getting paranoid...

The Don...has total control of the mafia. He will PM at the beginning of the night with the Mafia's choice of who gets lynched, EVEN IF IT IS ONE OF HIS OWN! He can do three investigations to me by PM, one a night, in his efforts to find the Mayor, Doctor, Detective, or Vigilante. Should the Don be lynched, each of the remaining Mafia will have to PM me, and I will break any ties.

I mis-read this. I thought the Don was able to investigate three a night and that is how they took out the detective so fast.

I feel better about this.

I think the mafia just got lucky with the detective. Maybe they thought Ice was getting "too close," even though most were just hunches, but they thought to investigate him on the first night just to make sure. Maybe they didn't investigate and just got really lucky.

Jensons I still don't follow your train of thought. Your vote for Nola isn't what concerns me. It's the fact that you didn't want him to quit because you were "bummed" and then quickly turned on him and basically called him a bad sport with a bad attitude that made me suspicious. Nobody seems to be targeting you anyways so I'm not as good of a distractor as you think...

shk_atk,

I never came right off the bat, claiming my innocence as you claim. I defended myself when I was accused. In your post, you claim mm and cl are naming folks in order to clear their name and are listing folks as their sacrificing. This, though is a foolish idea because there are only 5 mafia, but brings me to think this is very clever of you. You have just made it to my radar list. I believe you may be naming your buds in the name of sacrificing too. Just be careful though, there aren't too many of you mafia for you to gamble with.

The players, 24 townsfolk in the great city of ACville.

18 are Innocents; the remaining 6 are Mafia, they know who each other are, and can communicate with one another.

There are six of them...

(rbishop thinks there are 6 mafia....)

There seems to have been a sudden change in the population...

15 Innocents

6 Mafia

Here is a more recent count.

Our odds now are better than One in Four, I am guessing our odds are One in Three and a half.
