The "fuzzy" fin rot is disappearing thanks to the tannins, that's what I see.He seems less butt floaty again in these pics. Nothing wrong with hunting little copepods for food & fun. His tail top looks iffy but not like it did. Is that what you see too?
Well, that sucks. Sorry to hear about that.Its not happy news this update.
This whole week he has been going downhill. At first mostly just lazing around more, but then just not wanting to move, couldn't get food and we tried spot feeding him, which at first he took to, but as the week went on he became disinterested and had refused to eat. He has barely moved, lost a lot of the brightness to his eyes that he had when he saw us around. And last 2 days he began to pinecone.
So we made the decision today to let him go instead of letting him suffer. His food was soaked in epsom salts, but did nothing to prevent the start of dropsy and given his condition, he would not have been able to fight it off.
