Alright. Not much new to report though. The real excitement will either be when my silver aro gets big enough to get added to the fray, or when I build my sulfur denitrator and hook it up.

That goldfish is ridiculous.

LOL, that's why I like him. I don't even think he's full grown. I've seen some LARGE goldfish over the years. Maybe he'll be one of the few who reach 12"+

I can see it now:

"Next week on Aquaria Central, 'My 600g Pond build in progress'.."

Well I am considering moving him outside into a temp pond for the summer (stock tank), along with some snails and maybe 50 or so feeder sized goldies. Look at my stock list though... maybe not next week, but in the next couple of years I'll definitely have to be building a (much) larger tank to house my silver aro and TSN. If all goes as planned and I move into a house with a basement in the fall, I can start slowly building the infrastructure for my 12'x4'x4' tropical fish pool :p.

I'll say, when he was first put in, he wasn't quite the looker he is now.

Actually, as good as he looks, it does inspire me towards a pond. Kind of funny, my wife only tolerates my aquarium addiction, but she's rather excited about the idea of a pond when we own a house...better for me.

thats just an amazing tank. thanks for sharing these pictures. great work.
