I changed one of my 24" lights with higher K temperature, almost to the point of purple so the fish's colors pop out more. Plus, the new light seems to have made my plants a deeper green color.
I also cut my main anubias plant into 5 rhizomes with about 6 leaves each because the new growth was starting to run off of the lava rock it attached to, plus there where a couple of bald spots on the rock where algae covered leaves where trimmed off.
My ADF after chowing down some bloodworms.
FTS:
You can see how much the light changed my Neon's color.
Here is a picture of the light itself, it says it's 7800K, but it's way far off from that.
You can see the trim of my anubias plant on the lava rock.
Not much has changed, except the usual trim every week. i did add a crypt lutea to the foreground and a little pot of HC I got for free that only had a couple of little shoots growing from the rockwool. I just took the big chunk of brown stems in the middle and planted it in the tank, hoping it will grow.
