My first big girl tank!

A school of 6 boraras brigittae and a pair of dicrossus filamentosus would fill out that tank beautifully IMO. Maybe with some really good filtrification you could squeeze in an oto.

No seriously, I am definitely digging the apistos and discus idea. When I upgrade my goldfish to a 120 in a few months, that's deff what's happening to the 75. Great dimensions for a planted tank for 6 discus, some different apistos and/or rams, and some small tetras. You could throw in some pearl gouramis for good measure :D !

Congrats on the new tank!

Your options are almost endless! I do like the giant community tanks....tetras, rasboras, corys. I've always wanted one big enough to have a couple/few pairs of GBR's. I enjoy making little territories for fish and the GBR's would be fun to do that for.

Whatever you decide, I can't wait to see pics!

Good luck

set it up as a rocky planted river bottom with a small group of uaru, cories, and 2-3 large schools of bigger tetras.

LOL, thanks duke. and i won't be going sw. There is no way my little shrimp breeding project could support that sort of habit.
