So pretty! Love the black fins coming in on your betta
Uhhhhhh cyano. It rears its ugly head in my tanks on occasion. Particularly if i'm late with a WC or I accidentally over feed. But generally I've been able to keep it under control and with lots of maintenance, I can keep it away. Like my 5.5g got it in the floating plants once or twice because the light is so close to the plants. But it doesn't return if I keep it 'tidy'.
Actually if i'm trying to rid the cyano, the floating plants like water lettuce collect it in their roots. Really easy to toss out lettuce and replace it with some good pieces from a tank i'm over supplied with anyway. It's a method I use to get rid of it.
Man I sound like a lazy fish keeper, but I don't redo my tanks very often lately and just keep trying to work with what I have. For the most part I don't fret anymore with cyano.
