I tweaked a couple "plants" in the 46. The goldfish and livebearers are really liking the space. And its so nice to see them through glass. Water is cloudy from the Seachem Equilibrium (I have soft water, so my livebearers need the GH boost)
Stock:
1 lionchu goldfish
1 baby common goldfish (will move to a pond when we move)
2 mollies
3 guppies
4 platies
Some mystery snails
Breeder box is for my floating plants for nitrate control.
I'm surprisingly happy with this despite my dislike of fake plants. If the snails didn't eat everything, I'd have tried some anubias but alas lol
This is what they had before
And the broken brace on the new 55. Started bowing on me when I filled it up so had to drain it enough to get it fixed.
Took a glass panel from an old light i scrapped. Its crude but it'll hold. Aquarium silicone on both ends and along the broken brace piece to hold it all tight. Lack a saw able to cut glass, so that back edge sticks out at the rear.
I'll keep an eye out for a replacement frame altogether, but for now this will manage just fine.
