My tanks

Jake, I'm disappointed your kubs were so shy for so long. They were next on my loachy list. Clowns were my only "veggie " loaches. They's put U shaped holes in swords & crypts if they didn't get enough romaine & zucchini (3x/week minimum). I've had fish "graze" on leaves, a few veg & less algae.
Rasbora; one of my favorites. They school like rummies but unlike rummy they don't really stop schooling when they are comfortable. And they are so darn pretty.

Lol here's some loach pics

Also, when I cleaned the 55g rainbow tank fx4 canister last week I found yet another fish living in it. Think it had a run in with the impeller. But yeah I still have like 15 baby plecos in that tank I can't catch.

Great pics as always! Thanks for more loach shots! You know I also love your catfish but that rainbow pic is spectacular!

I forgot your barbs were also injured by the sanitizer accident. They & your goldies seem to be getting along well.

Yeah, the barbs are all totally blind, except the 2 born after the event, and I've got several cories in the rainbow 55g tank who were also part of it and they're blind too.

The only goldfish in my 135 who was affected is Neowise and he never had a reaction to it. Puff the ranchu did, but he passed away of dropsy a year or so ago. I do think it's possible the blindness played a role with that, he may have swallowed too much sand and it may have impacted him and caused dropsy, or could be unrelated and just because fancy goldfish have a horrible body shape that leaves them prone to such things. I'll never know.

But, I do still have many survivors of that incident and most are doing fine. Blind, but cories don't seem hindered by blindness anyways.

The barbs I worried about initially because it's like... how are they going to eat without seeing the food. But they proved me wrong and honestly I'm glad I gave them the chance. They have lived a fairly full lifespan for cherry barbs, even given their situation.

Oh, husband says I'm not allowed at the pet store anymore. I brought home another bamboo shrimp and I love her. She was really purdy with her checkered pattern.
She's joining my others lol

Hopefully, somebody will open an LFS nearby........
It'd be incredibly appreciated here but unfortunately it's the rental prices that drove out the last one. Was supposedly paying $10k a month to rent their shabby location.

I've been randomly finding eggs in my 20g tank, unsure at this point if they're the rasboras or the cherry barbs, but given barbs have been not so productive with viable eggs in the last year, who knows.

Either way, I got about a dozen tiny fry atm, fingers crossed.

If it's the rasboras:

Extremely tiny fry, great pic! Nice "big" fish shots too. I love the rasbora's green eye sheen.
Just about every egg I collected with the pipette have hatched too, and collected even more eggs today. They're very small fry.

So tiny, none free swimming yet.
