Nanos BJGD Log

Well now Im down two my pair. My lone baby died today. Dont know what the cause was cuz they always had food available. My Pair isnt looking like they wanna breed either. I think I may put some dither fish in there. Im feeding them blood worms today and last night tomorrow I may try krill or crickets (freeze dried).

My JD's are the messiest fish I have ever owned. Dude they always make a mess with there meals. I wish there was something they couldnt make a mess with. Even the krill last time I fed them they made a mess with. What you feeding your pair???
 
I've been feeding blood worms brine shrimp and mylis shrimp they eat everything haha. I re arranged there tank as I didn't like the setup it's pretty empty with just a big flower pot and a few smaller pots on each side. Looks nice. They chose there 'cave' and have kept the parrot fish far away from it. Very fun to watch.
 
LOL ok I tried freeze dried crickets but they made a mess again. Looks like the male is trying to court the female again but the Rhino pleco I put in there to do a lil maintaince keeps interupting them. He is a bold pleco. He will be moving back out prob tomorrow before the JD tag team on his lil butt.
 
Whoa your GEV now... Hahaha and my pair seem to be ready to spawn they just need to find a spot, I swear they have Cichlid A.D.D. They go from cleaning the pot on the left to the drift wood on the right to the slate in the middle. Very fun to watch. On the other hand my EBJD is a pig he eats anything and everything I love this little guy and I really hope he'll become a stunner.
 
Looks like he will become a stunning fish. I doubt he will become a ugly fish. lol

Yeah had my name changed from GER1023 to GEV83.
 
Yeah I doubt this ebjd will be a bad breeder he has a perfect body. No beak nice fins and deep coloring.
