I'm not really looking into making a living, just a few extra bucks here and there to pay for some goodies! Somehow this weekend I've got to try and get 2 holding mbuna out of my 125 too! A Cyno Afra and Lab Fuelleborni.
personally i dont think you can go wrong with a breeding group of cyps/sandsifters. they are fun to watch, beautiful, extremely prolific, and they sell nicely. you cant go wrong with that at all, you can make a good buck to help fund you hobby off their offspring as well.
last night when feeding my fish i saw a male cyp flash when he grabed some flakes. omg was it awsome, it lasted about a half a second but it was bright! not only is the tail fin yellow, but so are all the others, and the body is bright blue. stunning fish, cant wait till they color up more often.
I'll have to look at those. I wish I had done more research on cichlids before I made my 72 a community tank. They are all nice fish, but besides the cories, not much interesting behavior besides a little showing off.
