New 30gal setup

Look what I found all by myself. LOL

It appears that I have some Spirobid Worms living on my rock. THey are a good thing and filter feeders. Here is a link with a nice list of what is considered good and bad in your tank. I'm bookmarking this one for future reference. A great place for newbies.

Oh I had wondered about that link, I forgot to bookmark it when I first came across it a few months ago. Thanks for the link! And I have the spirobids. So many on the back glass my nephew thought I had put some kind of night star background on the tank.

I bought another Penguin Powerhead 1550 to add to the other two powerheads I already have going. I now have 760 gph moving around my tank. My featherduster is having a ball in it and stays out almost all the time.

You need a pic of a powerhead? I guess I am do a new tank photo as a whole, but I was hoping some of the algae would subside.

On a similar note as algae, I was looking at some of what I thought was hair algae and I think it is actually Maidens Hair instead. I was kind of surprised. Also, the algae that was growing on some of my live rock is Chaeto so that is a good thing. I will be happy with both, but there is still more hair algae than I would like and my hermit won't eat anything other than the small stuff.

Sorry, not at my camera or my tank right now. As soon as I can I'll send a new picture to the list. Anything to make Grins happy again and not mopey.

Please. I just walked by my empty tank and sighed again. My fish look so bored in their 20g hospital. My goby seems to come up to the glass and ask "I want my rocks damnit, not these stupid pvc pipes and sand! Give me sand!"
