Not in this thread he didn't, and I highly doubt he promotes the torture of animals like you obviously do. :argue:
I guess the mods are on vacation this weekend.. because I can't see any mod allowing this thread to go on as long as it has if any of them read it.
Ya, I see in the tag on the thread it states "This is a joke", but again, most people won't see that part and there are some that may think this is acceptable.. and that is the sole reason I feel this entire thread needs to be deleted.

REALLY?!?! That is your stance? There is NOTHING wrong with someone saying it is ok to put SW corals into a FW tank? Wow... am I in the twilight zone?
Sorry, but this thread really makes me mad, and as far as I can tell, makes other SW people mad as well, and there is no reason for it.

Maybe a mod could just edit the original post and add a "PS: just kidding!" at the bottom for the peeps out there that might misunderstand the point of this thread.
I saw it as a joke right away and laughed, but I do agree with Ace that it could be taken for truth by some folks that skim through the thread.

Here is a hint people, a joke is something that makes everyone laugh... making jokes about torturing and killing animals rates right up there with making jokes about pedophiles and what they do to kids in my book.
Would it be just as funny for me to go buy an discus and float it in my SW tank, take a picture and post it in the FW section saying "I was told if I slowly drip SW into the bag the fish will adjust and live fine"? NO, it would not!
I can not condone or support a forum that thinks making jokes about torturing the animals I love and spend my life trying to save is acceptable behavior. It is one thing for a normal user to have that attitude, but in my book, completely unacceptable for a mod to have that attitude. The mod will edit benign language out of my posts but the same mod will choose to sit back and laugh at how people get "mad" in a thread that is pointless and counter productive to the entire purpose of this forum.
