Definitely the case here where even though sorely outclassed the pirates are trading well on their scurvy scoundrel image.

Ninjas are trained killers.

Pirates are trained sailors, thieves, and may have a little swordplay or a pistol to back them up.

I think people are missing the gist of the poll. The question is not "which are cooler" but "which would win in a fight".

I would argue pirates are probably cooler, but the ninja would always win in a fight.

Grog made using Jameson's would be closer to a Bob Smith, which substitutes whiskey for the rum.

Hmmmph. I had grog at a party once and it was definitely not the ingredients I found online. I liked the grog at the party better, MAN was that s#!t strong.

um. ninjas would obviously win. they would wait till the pirates docked and then they would sneak on board and secure the captain and sabotage the cannon, and then the ninjas would attack the pirates and considering the ninja are trained with sword's they would go and kill the first wave with a wave of shurikken, and then when the first wave of pirates are down they would attack and with their superior swordsman ship they would kill everyone on the ship and the pirates would stick their heads in the ground and theirs asses in the air.

in conclusion, the ninjas would have superior tactics, the element of surprise, and better sword handling. hands down, the ninja would own. the ninjas would unmercifully slaughter the pirates.

Now you made one mistake. I don't believe all ninjas have a 4.0 GPA to make superior tactics to predict where the drunken swagger of the pirate will take the battle next. So, therefore, pirates need no tactics and with their grogged-out minds they could defeat the tactic-lessly confused ninjas!
