Lmao, this is great, I have mondo grass, a corn plant, a varigated corn plant, a dracaena marginta, a dracena florida beauty, and for a while had a borneo fern in my tank, I skipped that noob stage though and they're all planted as marginals in my 90g paludarium.
I find it easier ditinguish the plants you know don't go in the water and hope for the best with the otheres.
Petland, well atleast the one in wichita, carrys only aquatics, I know the manager and was making fun of petco oneday because they had 20 kinds of plants and 2 were aquatic. Anyway, he told me he specifically went through the orderlist and only picks out truly aquatic plants. I guess some lfs people have brains.
