Our House Renovation Has Begun and It Will Include 2 Walls With Built In Tanks

Thanks! Now that the fish room is almost done, next is the new living room hardwood floor. It will be very nice to sit in the new living room and watch the fish in the large tanks. Still a good ways to go before then though.

You all should be very proud and happy to be at this point. Very happy for your good fortune and hope you have many years of joy in your room and the total renovation as well. Every thing looks awesome, thanks for sharing all your work. Good luck.

My husband has been putting in the oak floors in the living room while I have been sorting and organizing the fish room. All of my fish are now in their new space. The 110 still has no fish in it, but we are suppose to get some native fish later this month and that will be their new home. I find it amazing that that tank has sat empty for over a month. We drained it close to the beginning of this house overhaul. I filled it about half way yesterday to make sure there were no seams leaking after moving it and before the floors were put in. Today, there are hundreds of MTS on the sides of the tank. I knew they were some tough snails, but never imagined they would still be alive after all of this time.

I also have a 75 empty, a 55 empty, and a 15 empty. These will be my QT tanks for any new fish I end up bringing in. I think at first it will be Orange Hatchets, Bolivian Rams, and Diamond Head Neon Tetras.

Pictures of the living room and all of the fish tanks in the fish room tomorrow after they all have a chance to settle in for the night.

Really, really nice Snoop! I'll keep dreamin and droolin......

Awesome job!!! Love the little window too. You two are like me; stuff as many gallons into every square inch possible. :D

After all of the renovating, that is all of the room my hubby would give me. I have to use the space to the fullest!!

This is what all is in there so far:

110 gal (front in wall to living room) - empty, waiting for cold water natives.
75 gal - empty, waiting for ???
55 gal - empty, same
55 gal - Bolivian Rams, Endlers, Bridgesii, and a blue eye bn waiting for her man.
35 gal - Pair of Convicts (regular male, calico female)
20 gal long - 3 Fire Red Discus babies
15 gal - Moscow guppy trio and Cherry Shrimp
10 gal - Meteor Minnows

And a husband with a back and head ache!
