I love your wolf fish. She is so awesome looking, and you're right about the pic, it really flatters her, lol.
I think it's because it's a full body shot, she's showing a red eye (did you use flash?), and the dark lighting. Truly beastly (in a good way haha).

Here's a pic of a black and white tank I am setting up...still needs some work, but I think I like this ! 
Wow Emg, that tank already looks gorgeous, especially the way the pearl plants match the guppies almost exactly.

The guppies were my inspiration for doing this tank. My daughter picked out that pair for her tank...lol...she said I can keep them in mine until they make more....
Here's a pic of the whole tank..as I have it set up now...I do plan on getting more of the black plants and putting it behind the white ones in the back left side...and trying to find more rock type decorations to put in there as well...I would like to have plenty of hidey spots for that female guppy so that she feels very secure and happy...I want LOTS of these goreous little fish....lol....(never thought I would EVER say I wanted lots of guppies...lol)
