Anyway- again- I think it was wrong that your friend was fined, and wrong that his dog was euthanized. But I wasn't there- how am I to know if he bit once shook once? I believe you that it probably was a fluke. But you have to admit- 99% of interdog scuffles in a park do not result in death. I really don't think that a dog that reacts that quickly and forcefully to an unexpected stimulus had any business in a park. Of course again- I don't mean that this applies to all pits.
Well there were witnesses that all were willing to testify in court that the Pit Bull reacted in a completely just way. The Pit actaully had more physical damage from the other dog. I mean I wasnt there to witness it for myself but from talking with my friend and a few witnesses they said the collie came from the side and attacked, with no reason, it was just outta the blue. The pit didnt even see it comeing and the dog kinda jumped on top of the pitty. the pitty had to kinda shake him off of him and turned and grabbed it once and well you know the rest.
I would react the same way. if somebody came up and blind sided me I aint gonna turn around and be like "hey man what are you doin? lets talk about this." I am gonna turn around and knock him out and ask questions later.
Oh and about the bar thing it actually happend outside. The guy was kicked out of the bar and hung out in the parking lot and the other guy(steve) came out of the bar to go home and the guy started freaking out and decided he wanted to fight Steve. They hadnt even seen echother until that point, it wasnt like they fought earlier in the night either, the guy just picked Steve out of the crowd and came at him.
