Project Great Wall o' Tanks

Nice plumbing and cable management. My only concern is if a tank above one of the power strips leaks, water may migrate directly into some sockets. Maybe you could space the power strips out 1/2" or so to allow water to pass under.

Must feel nice to have all the tanks in.

Sigh......

yeah Q i was thinking of you this morning :p

I'm an aquaria novice and have just joined the forum. I've really enjoyed reading this thread this evening. What a brilliant achievement, Sploke.
I look forward to learning enough about sumps, pumps, etc to put a system together. I like the notion of having varied biotope representations.
Anyway, Sploke, thanks for going to the trouble to present the construction process.
I hope you'll continue to post pics of any upgrades.
Cheers,
Murray

Hi sploke and all,
I remember reading early in this thread that you weld. I'm wondering why all the tank stands I read about are constructed in timber? Is it because of the potential danger of electricity/water/metal? A decorative metal build could look good.
Cheers
Greg
