Coral of some type. May just be a skeleton but tough to tell. Encrusting monti, leptastrea, possibly and encrusting gonipora.Could be a sponge but I don't think so. If its soft, that is what it is.

That looks great, I am really considering that light fixture. The LEDs are a little more money up front, but I have read that they save money quick as you dont have to replace the bulbs and they hardly use any power. Do they get hot?
I wouldn't say "hot" but the top gets kind of warm, but that pretty much happens on most high powered fixtures. I have no regrets buying that light fixture so far.

Any clearer pictures? And maybe a better idea of color. Otherwise it looks like a Kenya Tree grown in a shaded area.
