Ok i found some of this stuff at a (very) local pet store - amazingly for only $8 for 6lbs bag.

I'll try that untill i can get some of that Natural balance from Petco.

Thanks so much, mduro and Roan!! I checked out the links you provided, and will be making a switch this week. (Living way out in the country, and teaching in a small town, I'll either make a journey to a nearby city or just mailorder--I do that will supplements and other necessaries for dogs, cat and horses too). I love my bubbies, they ARE my children, and being soooo busy I just went with the vet's recommendation (BTW, Roan, I know that doctors of all sorts get kickbacks, but not like you
described. One more strike against humans, and 100 points for the critters!)

Like it was said already: it works okay for some animals. Some of us just don't want to take chances.

Nah the best food for a cat is to let it go out in the wilderness and let it bring down its own Elk. Nothnig healthier than elk.
