Quick review of the 9 Watt submersible UV generic sterilizer & replacement bulbs

OK I send email and now we will have to see if Tony (idealhere-ca-alfa) will honor his ebay advertisment for bulb "ZW9D12W-H145" as promised in eBay photo's. Hopefully they will do the right thing and send you bulb "ZW9D12W-H145" as contracted. We will soon find out if they are a Top Ebay Hong-Kong seller or NOT!:liar:
 
you could have filed a paypal dispute since what they sent wasnt what was in the ebay ad hence numbers missing not the right bulb etc, and got your money back.
 
When your talking small items for just a few dollars, these things seen to perpetuate themselves. To be honest with you I have never yet filled for a claim becasue I found that objective forum feed back is a much more effective incentive for vendors to do right continually overall, and it helps them market their items much more effectively becasue it REAL feedback.

My wife who was Chinese used to quote a an old Chinese business slogan about cheating customers "Save penny, lose dollar" And that my friend is the premise here. But hay the jury is still out and the vendor who always did right by me may decide to do the same here and increase, or not and decrease reputation. will see.

I give sellers 1 chance at doing the right thing after that im not wasting my time i dont care how small the purchase might have been i file a refund claim and get my money back and buy from someone else. I have never lost a refund claim I filed against a seller and it is effective very simple and takes care of the problem.
in my opinion my time is worth more than sending a dozen emails to fix what should have not been a problem in the first place, but everyone has there own ebay tactics i just prefer to limit my time spent on a issue.

There is a time for everything under heaven my friend, even responding to threads and sellers. How you use time is much more important then how you waste it.

Thats true I would rather be searching for the next bargain. Instead of fighting to get a previous one settled :argue:
 
Thanks gunner, We will see. I got a email saying ebay blocked your email, i forwarded that message on to you so hopefully something gets through. He may be sending new bulbs, i got an email yesterday with a Chinese tracking number from reefshops. I never ordered anything from them or any other ebay seller, so it might be the correct bulbs.

Did you ever get the correct bulbs that works? If its any consolation I just received 4 more and have the same issue. I diden't receive bulb's "ZW912W-H145" as advertised and as specifically requested on eBay message before making the purchase for which I was given a confirmation email that they are in fact that same correct bulb. But Instead I received 4 bulbs marked without the correct part number and instead marked 220V-9W with a paper sticky, and of course none of them work. So now I have to see if Im paying the price for speaking up. Will post you know what this eBay vendor does.
