Ray of sunshine

Im suprised that a ot of folks have not come in this thread. come on you all have rays of sunshine....... your kids, your jobs, your tanks, blessing someone today,or yesterday? Its not always what you get, its what you give~! I think the greatest thing one can do is give, time, gifts, money and or love. my daughter is taking care of a bunch of kids today for the ladys lunchen at church, free and on a saturrday..... I say she was a ray of sunshine to those who wanted to go but had no sitter. She took 4 hours out of her day to give that time, and does so much more.
its above zero today, now thats a ray of sunshine!! there are so many things one call call a ray of sunshine..... come on people if you do not see it, then your not looking !

My daughter in law and beautiful grand daughter just came back to the states from Guam and will be visiting us and her family for the next 10 months while her husband/my son is in the middle east. And my oldest son came back safely from being underway on a submarine. :grinyes: Oh, and my youngest son has decided to stay here in NC rather than going all the way back to N. Idaho...Life is good....

I'd have to join the cat lovers out there...my cats curling up with me at night or jumping into my lap never fails to make me happy. Especially my 2nd cat..I adopted her when she was brought in to the vet clinic that I work at by animal control with a pelvic fracture. Whenever I see her sleeping somewhere comfy or enthusiastically kneading my bed I know she is so thankful to have a warm and happy home. :grinyes:

Today I get to work and find out my boss and his wife (we all work together) have had a major fight. She was not there and I thought maybe I'll call her and see how things are going. Just as I thought that, I thought , no , just let it work itself out without me getting involved. 2 seconds later she pulls in to work and everything is good . BIG SMILE ON MY FACE :) Made for a better day today !!!!!!

My sis just moved in with her four kids. I hadn't seen them in 3 years, so as wild as things are, it's really a blast having them here. :D

I take care of my Dad practically 24/7. At 89 he can definately be a challange but I am so thankful for all the time I do get to spend with him. He just had his batteries replaced in his pacemaker. He has led a great life and maybe he's not so full of vim anymore he sure is full of vinager :)
I am also getting a minature schnauzer sometime this coming week. Between my Dad, my cat, and reef tank I will have my hands full. I couldn't be happier.

Just waking up every morning with my family all healthy is good for me. :) A nice hot shower...a cup of steamy tea on a cold morning......watching my fish.....and watching some more!

i just moved my Mosquitofish fry into bigger containers. it was rewarding to see them growing, and I might cry (;)( on the day that I have sexed them and put females into the existing tank and males into their own. Then i figure theyre adults lol
