Well it looks like my LFS was right:eek3: (there's a first!!!)My Bangai Cardinals have often held eggs in their mouths but have always eaten them!!! My LFS suggested I might have more luck in the new tank as they may feel less threatened. This morning imagine my surprise when I was doing some work on my sump and discovered...............................

He is soooooo tiny!! He must have gone down the overflow and also managed to avoid 3 pumps!!!! I now have him in a hatchery in the sump and I'll see how it goes.

Aren't these fish on the endangered species list now (or close to it)?

Good job! Repopulating the planet...one baby at a time. ;)

I AGREE WITH NIKO MAKE A NEW THREAD THIS WAY IT CAN HELP ANY ONE THAT HAVE BANGAI AND FIND A BABY. I HAVE TWO BUT I DONT THINK THEY WILL MATE BECAUSE THAY DONT SWIM TOGETHER.

Aww how great! A compliment to your husbandry skills from the fish if they are willing to breed in your tank.
