Running DIY Co2 Through a c-160?

Oh yea....

gotta find some of that 4dKh solution somewhere? :(

I made my own, because my water was real close already.

Might be good to make a thread about....

"Where to buy 4dKh for Drop Checker?"

OK, I wish there was one on drsfostersmith, hahaha I'm gonna have to shell out another $10 for shipping :(

P.s Has anyone ever heard of co2 harming a canister filter?

Yea, I had to do that too. I suggested it to Drs, while on the phone with them one time.

Might try your LFS?

I haven't heard anyone say anything about CO2 hurting their canisters. And its come up fairly often in this forum.

My second concern was pumping CO2 into the area where we have anaerobic bacteria living, and gagging them with it. LOL
BUT, WE aint goin their. People done said Pffft about it. LOL some more.

nope

The instructions tell you to use tank water. But a few around here that know what they're doing, said. Gotta be 4 dKh water in it, to do what we want it to.

Nvm it was here!

Ok. Is there any way that I woulden't need an indicator? (sorry I just don't wanna spend another $10 for one thing ;)

You could procrastinate it for a while, until you need something else. So it would be a more reasonable purchase. You'll at least need some water conditioner some day. ;)

Your biggest concern for using it would be to Not Kill fish.
And you won't do that with a DIY on a 20g. (So they say... and I believe them).

So yes, for now... pass on it.
